Crushs Coasters Wait Times

I have Cafe Mickey booked for 8 the previous evening. It looks so cute can't wait!

I still wonder about the long term impact of Crush. 15 months after opening, the queues show no signs of shortening and people regularly line up at 9.20 to be in with a chance of an early ride - meaning they queue up for 40 minutes before the ride even opens. If it were in the Park more people would leave it until later in the day and ride then, but as the Studio always closes at 7 there is no chance of that. Don't know what the answer is.

Build more rides with a higher capacity!!! They probably should have built two crushes coasters side by side like Space Mountain at WDW

EMH in the studios?

Or perhaps they could do what they do at Disney's California Adventure with Soarin and have Crush open at 9:30 when they open the park, then open the rest of the rides at 10am.

Or EMH for the studios would be good, maybe just an hours before though, or even keep the park open a little later.

emh in the studios would rule.
they have tried fast pass so at least we know they are making an effort.
it is the ONLY ride in either park i will actually queue for though.
i really like it.

When I was there last week the ride time was often about 40 minutes during the day, much shorter than waiting in the morning andthe queue seemed to move much quicker too

That is good, 40 min is not bad at all. I am not coming all the way from Texas to not ride it :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

The longest i waited for Crush was 20mins and i swear it took quicker than 20mins to even get on the ride.

I guess it gets mixed reviews here, but I queued up 75 minutes for it and thought it was worth every minute of the wait. Just a really, really fun coaster. I REALLY hope they find a way to fit it in at WDW. I'd actually put Crush at the top of my list for things to ride in the Studios. Tower is virtually identical. RnR is the same exact layout as WDW. If I were really pressed for time, I'd litterally just ride Crush at the Studios and move right over to the Disneyland Park. No comparison between the Studios and Disneyland.

Studios is short on attractions and thinly themed. Disneyland Paris is phenomenal though. Better designed and themed than than the Magic Kingdom. Space Mountain version is fantastic. Pirates is amazing. Big Thunder is longer and faster than WDW. Spend the vast majority of your time there. But don't miss out on Crush. Again I waited 75 mins for it (something I would never bother doing at WDW) so it had a lot to live up too. You may not like it as much as I did, but there's no way you can leave there not having ridden it. That would be a mistake.

its the only ride i will leg it from the park gates to the entrance for lol!

Me to! Although my Fiancée refuses to run, so its all in vain really as i still have to wait at the top of the queue, but i do enjoy the run :yay:

I was there for 6 days in June and didn't get to go on at all - either the que was massive (at all times) or else it was closed :sad2: for technical reasons.

Ah well, there's always next time, maybe I'll even get to ride forward facing which I haven't done yet.

We are just back and rode it yesterday after waiting 25 mins.

Early in the day the queue was showing 60 minutes (and it reached 90 at the weekend :scared1: ) but we rode around 1pm (mostly everyone seemed to be off for lunch)

I have to say I found it similar to Rock N Roller coaster which only had a 5 minute queue most of the day so that might be a good reserve for you :)

We were there last week and the queue varied between 40 & 85 mins.

We found the best time to go was about 10 mins into the Motor Camera Action stunt show!

We managed to do the ride twice, on 2 different days, and the time taken was less than the actual waiting time quoted.

Enjoy, it's brilliant!
