I read on DLRPtoday that they're adding a single rider line to this...great news.
Last time we visited we really wanted to go on it but the queues were never less than an hour and it was too long a wait for DS (who wouldn't even have gotten to go on it!). So hopefully we'll get to go on our next trip in May! :-)

Actually I see that DS1 would be tall enough to ride CC now, although it says unsuitable for under 7s (he's 5.5), do you think he would be able for it? He doesn't scare easy.

My ds is 7, he loves Tower of terror, rc racer, BTM, rock n roller etc but we took him to alton towers last weekend and he hated the sonic spinball ride! We were so shocked! So crush is off the list for our next trip, he said the spinning made him feel sick.

My best friend's little boy went at Christmas and loved Crush's Coaster and Tower of Terror and he's only five :)

I can cope fine with most of the rides that DLP has to throw at me, including Space Mountain and RnR, but Crush has on two occasions left me on the verge of passing out and/or throwing up. Most people seem fine, but there are those of us for whom the queue length is a good excuse to avoid this one!

To be honest, its in the dark, you tip at huge angles, you take everything on with you (we nearly lost an umbrella on it and my Pirate is scarred for life!), its fast, you spin a lot if your shell is heavy and after the last ride on it, I felt sick afterwards!

I think the location of Crush's Coaster with the other Pixar rides caused a lot of traffic issues in this areas. I'd be all for proper fast pass on this ride.

Apparently that will never happen due to it being a slow and limited loader. Bit like the parachute drop. But sounds like there will be a single rider line installed!

They tested Fast Pass on Crush a few years ago to see about adding it in. But as the ride is slow loading, due to the capacity of the cars, it didn't work. So they decided not to add it. They are however working on building a longer queue line over the next few months so the area doesn't become as congested with the traffic going to TSPL. I guess they need to do this in preparation for Ratatouille opening as that area will probably get even more popular to walk through then.
