Hi Folks is the new ride at Typhoon on course to open on 14th March or has it had a soft opening?
If so has anyone been on and what's it like?
Can't wait to try this one in August

As far as I know TL is shut for the winter until March. I don't know how they do "soft openings" for new water rides - so I'd be interested if anyone knows!


Is the the first time they've had to handle this? I'm trying to think if any "new" rides have been added to TL or BB after they first opened and I must admit none spring to mind.

Can't answer your question, but I can't wait to try this, especially now I've found out its a tube/tire ride

I know they are having "cast member" openings starting on March 9th. Nice they use the cast members as guinnea pigs to make sure no visitors get injured LOL . Hopefully I'll get to test drive this soon. I'll make sure I give a review once it's been tested out.

Full time cast members have been guinea pigs all month for the new ride! Hard hats and all!

We asked a CM at BB whilst we were there, they told us TL reopens on March 13th.
