For those who have ridden the 3 different Crush & Gusher slides, is there a difference?
Do you have a preference?

Is one of them steeper? Slower? Faster? etc.etc.

We'll be in WDW in July and definitely plan on trying this ride (we've been thinking of going to Texas just to try out these slide types, so you can imagine our joy when Disney started talking about building one).

I understand that there isn't much of a line first thing in the morning. Has anyone been at TL in the late afternoon? Is there a line then?

There is some difference, but not a lot. The right side is for one or two people only and is the fastest, the middle one is for 1-3 people and is the slowest. The left is also for up to 3 people and is the middle speed one. It is a BLAST!!! We were lucky to be able to be on that when there was no line so we got to go down several times in a row. Just keep your rear up in the tube because you can bottom out a couple times.

Rode all three slides several times on June 2nd with no waits. All are fun, my son and I liked the middle and left slides the best, biggest dips. If riding with a child, put them in the front seat and and put your legs under their arms to help hold their bottoms up. The right slide doesn't allow the 3 person tubes.

thanks! We'll do our best to get there at least once at opening, so that we can try all 3 without a line.

We've been looking forward to this slide for so long.

A few years back, when my kids took the surfing class there, the guy running the wave pool for the surfing class told us that they were considering adding a new slide, but then we didn't hear about it for a few years....we can't wait...

All 3 ds said the pineapple one was best. Sorry didnt go on them myself.

We noticed the middle one (entry on the right hand side) was the smoothest but at the dropdown the rider in the back has a tendency to go over the head of the rider in front. No idea why, though we tried it again and again with the same result and couldn't figure out what was different. Just something to bear in mind if you have a little person riding in the front of a double tube.

thanks.
anyone know which is pineapple? is it the one on the left?

by the way, how do you get to the load area? a million steps? If so, are they steps like at the other slides at TL or like the steps at BB?

Only rode one in April and it was great!

But heed the warning - KEEP YOUR BUTT UP!!!!! :)
