I am so excited right now!!!!

We have been contemplating getting an RV here and driving it down to WDW, but the price of renting a minivan, spending one night in a pet friendly hotel, and renting a travel trailer from Camp USA is cheaper. It's cheap enough that Gabby agreed to stay an extra night!

So, we arrive on Thursday at about 1:00am at the local hotel. Sleep until about 9:30am. Get up walk the dogs and check out of the hotel. We will take the dogs to Petco to have them all get a bath and a nail clipping. While they are being groomed, we will go check in at FW and have the travel trailer delivered and set-up. Once all that is done and we have loaded the trailer with clothes and groceries and such, we will go pick up the dogs and spend the night getting them used to their new home for the next 9 nights!

The extra day makes the itinerary much more open. I really want to enjoy a lot of the F&W festival events. Gabby wants to take surfing lessons. We want to attend MNSSHP again.....mostly to dress up like the guys from American Choppers. :rotfl2:

I can not tell you how much I am looking forward to this vacation. It certainly takes the sting out of turning 40! Maggie

Well, it did, but now we have changed plans again. We have made some hard decisions today. Beanie is on heart meds now and Deuce has been on seizure meds for awhile. We decided that it would be wiser for us just to leave the dogs with a vet for boarding. Boarded dogs means no camping at FW, which is a double edged sword of sorts. I had planned to go to FW for the last few months and now, I am starting over, finally indulging my dream of staying at POR.

I still want to stay at FW one day. I still want us to buy an RV one day. I was really sort of looking forward to the trip to FW even with the inclusion of all that dog walking. Overall, I know that it'w probably the best thing for the dogs, but I think that I am actually going to miss the 4 little fur balls.

Oh well, if nothing else, the last few months have been an education into what I would like to do one day. To all that have answered my questions and given me advice, I thank you!

So, back to the Resorts board for me. Thanks again! Maggie

Oh.....your first plan sounded like so much fun! Oh well, you'll ahve fun at POR too. I just love FW so much. :goodvibes
