Apologies if a thread was started, but I could not find it.

So, here it is for now - we are booked!

Ken & DW Debbie, 6110

I'll reserve a couple pages for Roll Call and activities.

We are currently booked for this. Also for the 11 night to Norway/Iceland. This longer cruise for us in a balcony is cheeper than that cruise in a inside. We will see. I won't lie I will probably jump ship from both these cruises if the Hawaii trip happens in Sept and it's a round trip.

I've got a hold on this cruise and I'll be paying my deposit tomorrow. It will be me (Mary) and my mom (Joan) who was born in the Coco Solo Canal Zone. This is one cruise she has always wanted to do. We are in 7066 with early dining.

Hi all

Just booked this cruise today and couldn't find a thread already started so I thought I'd get one going. I couldn't think of a witty name but if anyone wants to suggest one, feel free :thumbsup2

My name is Joh (short for Joanne - don't ask about the 'h', it's a long and boring story). I will be travelling with my DH, Gary. We are from the UK and regular visitors to WDW. This will be our fifth Disney cruise so I guess we will officially be Gold Castaway Club members after this cruise - yay! We originally had the 2013 Panama Canal cruise booked but had to cancel after my DH got made redundant so this cruise is 2 years late (but, by my reckoning, actually cheaper).

We have met some wonderful people and made some great friends on previous cruises so I'm looking forward to meeting more :cool1:

DH and I are booked as well - all the way to Vancouver actually! This will be our second time through the canal as we did it the first time the Wonder went through back in 2011. Someone remind me the day we go through the canal that I was looking forward to the warmth as we still have snow on the ground so it does sound good - today anyway!

I look forward to hearing any tips you have then, since you are seasoned Panama Canal cruisers ;) Do I take it that it's quite hot then? How is the climate? Dry or humid?

Hi, we are booked on the same cruise.
We are five people from Austria, it will be our fourth Disney cruise but the first time on this itinerary.

We booked this cruise today :cheer2:

I have a terrible habit of booking a cruise and changing it, so I am almost tempted to not post on here, just in case, but I honestly think this is going to happen :thumbsup2

This will be our fifth DCL trip. We were scheduled to be on this year's EBTA but had to cancel, so this one next year is our make up cruise.

It'll be me, my husband and our twin girls (ten at the time of sailing).

Hello, hello. Austria is such a beautiful country, I drove through once with my parents on the way from Germany to Italy. I don't remember a huge amount except for how beautiful it was. Oh, and lots of scary mountain roads :rotfl:

Hi there, sorry you had to cancel the EBTA. The Transatlantic is on my bucket list (either way, I don't really mind) but my DH really, really wants to do the Panama Canal. Since he quite often indulges me with my choice of vacation, it's his turn to choose this time.

Yes, all this driving through from Germany to Italy and back was the reason for the highway fees we all have to pay now :rotfl:.
We are from Vienna, no scary mountain roads here, although it might be the only capital city with ski slopes.

Real ski slopes? I would love to go to Vienna one day. Trouble is, I don't often vacation in Europe (despite being European) as I don't seem to be able to drag myself away from Disney

On behalf of my parents, apologies for your road taxes :rotfl2:

So, are you travelling as a family or a group of friends?

There was a thread started yesterday: WONDERing to California 5/1/2015 WBPC. I'm not on a computer now so I can't link to that thread. We will have to have these threads merged. I'm booked with my Mom who was born in Panama in the Coco Solo Canal Zone many moons ago. This trip is for her but I know I will enjoy it as we'll.

Oh right, I didn't realise there was one already. I did a search and there wasn't a link on the Wonder 2015 Cruise Meets thread either. Never mind, no harm done :)

Like the TR title though :thumbsup2

Hi, I'm Joh. My DH (Gary) and I booked this cruise today. I hadn't realised there was already a thread and didn't find one when I searched so created another here which also has some posters.

I have sent a PM to the moderators to ask for the threads to be merged :)

We are in 6521 and have late dining.

DH and I booked this yesterday! This will be our 10th Disney cruise, first Panama Canal. We are very excited. We have wanted to do this one for a few years now.
We are from New Hampshire. No Kids, just the two of us.:beach:

On our 'canal day' it was warm and humid, just be prepared. The sights are awesome and the fact that it is manmade blew my mind especially after seeing the conditions they all worked in. I did read The Path Between the Seas by David McCullough before we went so I had some history on it. Also be sure to watch from different places on the ship - on the upper decks or on deck 4 (especially when going through a lock as it is mind boggling how narrow they really are).

Anyone have any other questions, let me know and I will be happy to try and answer.

Howdy!!!

Just booked for mom and I. This will be number 10 for us on DCL, platinum here we come! Mom's in Chicago, and I live in Connecticut.

This was the very first DCL cruise mom was ever interested in, and we're finally doing it!

DH and I just booked this today. It will be our first time through the Panama Canal, and we're looking forward to all of the sea days to just relax. :sunny:

Hey there, 10 Disney Cruises!! Lucky you. You will be Platinum after this one then :thumbsup2 No kids for us either - well, we have kids, we're just not bringing them since two are adult and one is going to be in school.

Another one who will achieve Platinum on this cruise :) I was reading a trip report last night and see that this cruise is fairly popular with gold/platinum cruisers. Lovely that you are going with your Mum :goodvibes

I totoally understand wanting to relax. We did the Western last October and found it was all just too hectic. Much preferred the Eastern itinerary. I am hoping that a 14-day cruise will feel far more relaxed :)
