Cruising Sept 11, 2005 - All Aboard

Is anyone becoming obsessive compulsive about this cruise now? I have been reading the board and I just can't wait!!

Hi, everybody! This is my first post to the thread. My DH and I are going on this cruise to celebrate our 12th anniversary. My 4 year old and 2 year old are staying with grandma (don't feel too sorry for them, they will get spoiled rotten and we're taking them to DW in January).

We did this same cruise back in 2002 right before I got pregnant with my second child and we loved it. This time we're looking forward to doing the Dolphin Encounter in Nassau, the brunch at Palo's, DH is getting a cabana massage and I'm getting the hot stone massage. I can't wait! I love my kids to death, but it will be so wonderful to have somebody waiting on ME for a change!

kfeuer - Great to have you join us. You guys will have an awesome time...We celebrated our 15th last year on the Wonder. We took our dd 4 at the time. DH could not leave her home because we had already left her at grandma's for a week earlier in the year. Oh well!!! We still had a great time though.

Woo hoo 31 days...I am so ready for this vacation... I need to pull out my packing list and get started. Has anyone been upgraded? Maybe someone will get lucky!! That would be so cool...

I so wish we would be upgraded, but I think not. My in-laws and I have a cabin next to each other and I don't think there will be an upgrade since we booked our cruise together. It sure would be nice though. When we went in January we were upgraded and the cabin was larger. Oh well, I guess I just won't spend as much time in the cabin. I'm on the 5th deck. Anyone else have a cabin on deck 5?

No upgrade here. We are going with family too and have a connecting room, so i doubt that we will be. But I hope some one is lucky!

Not deck 5 but deck 7... which will be nice to be close to the pool. I wish we would have gotten deck 5 it would have been closer to the clubs. I don't care if I have to sleep in a deck chair as long as we are there...

Hi everyone. We got Upgraded!!! I orriginally had a category 12 and we got upgraded to category 9!!! I can't believe it. Especcially since it's only me a DD. 30 more days!! We should get a meet together i think that would be a great idea. have a good day everyone!

Hey all,

Haven't posted in a while, but just realized that we are less than a month away. Keep those countdowns coming. Did get the kids some snorkeling equipment now that summer stuff is on sale. Especially the kids for who I was told the equipment on CC doesn't fit them proper. Got a nice set from Walmart with fins and all. It is not Jacque Costeau material, but will do.
I am in for a meet. It does seem that there aren't many people on board. I am also in for making door signs. Saw bunch of cool/nice ones to boorow idea from!!!

We will be joining you on the Sept. 11th cruise. Did you reserve your cabin originally as a guarentee? Also how do you find out if that you had been upgraded?

Just wanted to jump aboard. My husband and I will be crusing with our DD who is 4 and our friends are also going and they too have a DD that is 4.
(They also just found out they were upgraded from a Cat12 gty to a Cat.9-so they are super excited) Now if only we would get upgraded from our Cat 3 to a Cat 1 it would be even more AWESOME!!!
