We are cruising on the 4-day Wonder on Dec. 12.
My question is (I know the weather is unpredictable),
but has anyone cruised in mid-Dec.? If so what was
there experience in the Bahamas? I heard it's warmer
in the Carribean, but wanted to hear from people that
have gone in Dec. to the Bahamas. We are taking
our two grand-daughters and then my daughter,
her husband and other grand-daughter are going also.
Are the pools on the ship heated? We've been on
the Magic and Wonder each once before, but cannot
remember if the pools were heated or not (I don't
think so). Plus we went when the weather was very
warm. Thanks for any advice.

We did the 7-day western last Christmas, but of course we were in Castaway Cay one day which is in the Bahamas.

It was around 80 degrees on Dec. 26th.

Great lying in the chair or parasailing weather, but The water was too cold for my girls to go in.

Hope this helps.

Jim

Go. Enjoy the decorations. Have a great time

Reading this post with interest, since we're on the same ship!!!!

Doubt it will seem particularly warm to us desert-dwellers, but I'm sure the kids will be in the water! Kids includes my DH and DFather!

they will be in the pools.... it was heaven to us Nor'Easter's for the month of January....

it will be plenty warm, but no heated pools. Was high 70's (78) when we were there in January.

Thanks for the post, it makes me feel better. This will be my
grand-daughters' first cruise ever (and they love Disney), so
I want it to be special. I thought it would be great to go this
time of year because it's cheaper then Christmas, but we get
the Christmas decorations.

PattiPB is there a thread for people going on Dec. 12?
