I just need to say something. When I started researching cruises a couple of years ago, one of the very first things I found out was that itineraries are never, ever carved in stone. No matter what cruise line, ship, or time of year you sail. There are many variables that can effect the outcome of a cruise ship's planned itinerary. I think that most people do not realize this fact when planning a cruise vacation.
I am sorry to make this observation, but anyone who complains, gets upset, angry, etc. really does not have the right to do so. When you choose a cruise vacation, you are merely choosing what is "planned".
When we were about to leave on our August 28th Magic cruise 2 weeks ago, I hoped ONLY to be able to make it onto the ship. Period. Whatever happened from there, especially this time of year with hurricanes in the news, I knew I'd be thrilled just be on the ship, and on a cruise.
In a perfect world, no itineraries would ever have to be changed, but until then, this is the fact of cruising.
