Where do the cruises leave from and what are they? Has anyone taken a cruise along with their DL trip? I know Disney does not do one from Cal., but I was wondering who does. Thanks!
My husband and I are staying at Disneyland for 5 days prior to an 8 day Mexican Riviera Cruise onthe Norwegian Cruise Line's Star out of the Port of Los Angeles. This cruise has stops in Acapulco (overnight), Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, and Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa. These cruises begin Sept 26, 2004. I know that other cruise lines such as Princess also offer cruises out of Los Angeles.
I think that the cruise will be perfect after 5 hectic days in Disneyland.
We're going on a cheapie Carnival Cruise in a week after we spend a couple days in Disneyland. They sail out of Long Beach. There are a lot of great sites where you can get some help about cruise lines and prices, etc., depending on what you want to do.

Hold tight, check in February for DCL's "big announcement" for 2005 itineraries! I was on the Magic xmas and the captain said "new itineraries, whole new areas"
Boy, if I only knew I could count on that I would wait a year! Trouble is, I have a grandson that will be a junior then and I don't know if he'll still want to go with his grandparents and family on a Disney trip! Girl freind's and all that ! This may be the last time! We skipped last year to be able to afford this year. We had been to DW and Universal 3 different years and have done the Disney Magic 3 day cruise. Thought it was time for a trip to Ca.!
I know, my DS, 10, is obsessed with anything Haunted Mansion and he really wants to see DL's HM. But I can't see staying at DL for very long since it's so small compared to WDW so I'm hoping for a DL land and sea!
