Cruisequick policies

Hi Everyone,
We are booked for a 4 day in Feb. and are now looking at a 7 day in March instead. Cruisequick is by far the cheapest beating out DU by $600.00! I want to grab this rate until we make our final decision as I know the rates are climbing. Although CQ states they don't charge a cancellation fee they say that the res is subject to all penalties imposed by the cruiseline and we may pay a $50 "admistration fee" if we cancel. Does anyone know if this is charged by DCL or CQ? It's my understanding that Disney charges $250 per person deposit with no penalty if cancelled before the 60 day mark? Am I correct? If anyone has any additional info, I'd appreciate it. I definitely get the feeling that CQ doesn't want to field any questions.... they want you to already know.

I've never heard of anyone being charged a cancellation fee. The FAQ's say the cancellation is subject to the cruiseline's penalities. I know they will answer the question though. They aren't in the business of helping decide which cruise to take, which line is best for a certain type of person, etc. But, they DEFINATELYwill answer all your questions about the cruise you selected. They have answered all of mine, and in within about 10 minutes each time! Ask if you are worried, but I've never heard of a cancellation fee being imposed by them.
 
Disney doesn't charge a cancellation fee outside of the 60 day mark.
 
As long as Disney doesn't charge a fee, which they don't outside the cancellation fee, I'm pretty sure cruisequick will not impose one. They have been great for me, and they will lower the price, happily, if a rate goes down.
 

I believe that the cancellation mark (for no penalty) is now 75 days instead of 60 days.

Cruisequick states this to cover themselves if they have someone who constantly cancels reservations. I believe they told me the first cancellation will not have any fees ($50), but subsequent cancellations would.

We have booked two cruises through them and have cancelled two. We received a full refund on the two we cancelled without the $50 penalty.

I've cancelled 3 cruises with Cruisequick and have purchased and kept 3. One of the cancellations was changing to a different ship for the same week, the other two we just decided we wouldn't take.

That said, I've yet to be charged a cancellation fee. And, for the 3 we are taking booked with them, we saved substantial money and they have always gotten back to us quickly.

So far, all docs have arrived on time, they get back to me quickly etc.
 
I am surprised you are saving money over DU, Cruisequick is $966 more than my DU quote. I must have gotten in at a really good time.
 
Well, I just typed in all the info on cruisequick and hit purchase and it keeps telling me that the system is unavailable. I was assuming I could purchase it any time of day but maybe that isn't true.

I checked with DU first and they had no availability on a Cat#6 and quoted me $1,000 more for a Cat 5. To be fair, it was a different Cat. CQ had the Cat 6 available for 4 on 3/5 Eastern for $5300 and they just dropped in down to $5000 making the savings almost $1000. I'm not sure if this is overall high for a 7 day for 4 people, but booking this close, I'm happy with the price.

Of course, after all this soul-searching and decision making, it isn't letting me actually buy it so perhaps it is too good to be true!!!

I've not had a problem with their website like that. Send an email saying you are trying to buy and the system won't let you. I'm sure they would hold the price for you if there is a problem.
