My husband is debating on renting the CONTEMPORARY TUXEDO PACKAGE so one he doesn't have to pack and two to dress up.

One question is it ask for measurements but when I measured his waist it was 40"but he wears a 36 in pants so which number do I give them?

Two how was the experience of renting?

Three where extra charges for spillage I.e. Food stains etc...?

Four any taxes on the rental?

P.S this is my dress for formal night.

I unfortunately can't help either since our first one is in November.
But I came here bc I thought maybe I'd read someone posting about renting a tux for a child.. I checked and didn't see it.

I'm sure you'll get answers though!

We've rented from them a few times. We used the measurements from a recent wedding tux rental, but I CAN tell you that they are very accommodating if you need to change sizes, notice a slipped stitch, etc. and will get you what you need. . Some tux rental/suit shops will do the measurements for you if you ask.
They bring the suit on the first day, so you have time to try it on for size - they do have a stock on the ship for changes/replacements.
While they don't charge tax, they do charge a "minor damage fee" upfront. I just chalk it up to the cost of cleaning.

Don't forget tuxedo socks!

My hubby rented the same package and was very pleased. He does bring along his formal shoes but not having to pack his tux is a real space saver. The first time, his jacket was way too large in the shoulders even though we had taken the measurements as they suggest on the form. Thankfully, he tried it on as soon as we were in the cabin and they were able to bring one that was a better fit. As someone stated earlier, they do have a limited number of different sizes available but you would be wise to ask for the switch immediately should it be needed.

Your gown is lovely and I know you will have a wonderful evening. We certainly enjoy dressing in formal wear when DCL makes the effort to have a night designated as such. Agree about not forgetting the socks.

The rented trousers did have an adjustment piece on both sides at the waist so there could be some deviation without being uncomfortable. We were also thinking there was an 800# for help with your order......that might be helpful if there is one.

there is adjustment in the pants ... and any Men's Wearhouse will do measurements . . .
