Ok DD is getting married on the Cruise in November 2009....(I feel like I start every question like that sorry) Anyway she is hoping to reserve the private room at Palo for dinner after the wedding, so far I believe there are 14 people who have sent back the RSVP's so I believe we are fine with the Number for the room. And she is really hoping she can do it because she is worried that with the Ceremony and pictures afterwards that we will miss the Dinner Seating in our assigned Restaurant that evening. Now a couple questions.....
1. What is the limit for people in the private room (for sure) Does anyone know??
2. I know the Weddings are usually set for what 4:30 and 5:30 onboard she is doing it on Deck 7. I suggested that she ask if there was a way to ask for a certain time which she thought was a good idea, but then she started thinking about what time the sun would set in November....I can see her point for pictures and so on. So does anyone know or have pictures of how dark it is at either of those times??? I am assuming that she wants pictures outside and inside so that will make a difference, and some sunset pictures would be wonderful.
3. How late can you make a reservation in Palo?? ON all of our 4 past cruises we have never eaten at Palo, made a reservation once but enjoyed our tablemates so much we didn't use it!!! And never really checked how long they serve.
4. She asked if they could cut the cake and do the first dances inside somewhere due to the fact that her fiancees mom will have just finished chemo before the trip and she cannot be in the sun for along time, she was told yes they could move it inside but souldn't tell her where yet she is good with that. But she is wondering if they can cut the cake FOR PICTURES and then have them take it and save it for Desert at PALO if she is able to book the private room.
Ok I think those are all of the questions for now Here's hoping that someone who has done this before can answer a couple of them for me to pass on to DD.....Thanks.
