From what I understand they do give a group rate on some cruises. For ours, it was a much better deal to receive the onboard credit through our travel agent, than to set up a group.
We sent our family information on the specific TA we used, so one person could handle everything. About half of the cabins used our TA. It was no big deal to link the remaining cabins, we have 8 in total.
do you get to pick the day you get to get married. were going to do it on the ship. If you dont mind me asking how many in your party and what did disney charge you to do the wedding.
If I'm remembering correctly with an onboard ceremony the captin picks the day and time. With Castaway Cay there is only one possible choice, and it is usually at 10am.
For Deck 7 the cost is $2500 on top of your cruise price. There is also an 18 person maximum.
For Castaway Cay the cost is $3500, with a 48 person maximum.
We have 22 in our party. Also keep in mind photography is extra, as well extra floral and champagne. The other things like the dress, rings, favors, really start to add up too!
With most cruises they only allow 3 weddings per sailing. One on Castaway and two onboard.
