I recently booked a cruise that includes my father-in-law who uses oxygen at night when sleeping. He has an oxygen producing machine that we can carry on board (although it is somewhat large). I booked our cruise through the Disney Vacation Club and have been given different stories about bringing the equipment on board. One reservationist said we could not do it and would need to order oxygen from Brevard Medical to be delivered to the ship. Another reservationist told me it was not a problem. Has anyone had any experience with this. Am I worrying about nothing. The last thing I want to do is show up at check in and have a problem.

If it is a "Cpap" machine you are talking about, many people have brought them onto the Disney Cruise Line ships. Search function is not working, but when it gets back up, do a search under that subject. There have been posts in the past about where and how people plug in their machines to sleep at night. Good luck!

Call the DCL reservations again, and ask for the Medical Special Services Coordinator. I don't have the phone number, but the Fax number is 407-566-7739. They will help you with all arrangements and questions.
