Cruise to Alaska

Hi Everyone! I haven't been here for a while so Hey everyone! Has anyone heard anything about a possible Disney Cruise to Alaska? a friend of mine said he saw something on the internet but I haven't heard anything and can't find anything on line. I have been waiting 25 years to go to Alaska and have two 12 year olds so I need something fun for them and what could be more fun then Disney? Any info would be appreciated! DIS FOREVER! Helen

The rumors are flying because people are getting surveys from DCL about new itinerary ideas .. and Alaska is one of the options in the survey .. but apparently this is a survey they've been sending out periodically over the last 2-3 years .. so I'm not holding my breath on Alaska, not at least until they announce they're building a 3rd/4th ship that will actually be constructed/designed for Alaska cruises.

I think a Disney cruise ship based out of LA could have an itinerary with some trips to Mexico and some to Alaska! So, it might not be so far fetched to think of a Disney cruise to Alaska.

I think DrCavin is mistaken, or joking. A Google and Yahoo search of news around the world as of 8 am pst 7-5-05 makes no mention of this, and there is no press release on the Disney or Disney cruise site. This would be big news folks.
