If I am interested in planning a 3 day cruise for value season jan/feb and I would like the cat 4 rooms which sleep 5, do I have to use extra points for my 5th child who is an infant?

I am having trouble understanding the cruise point charts

Yes, there is a charge for infants as they have to at least pay port taxes. I do not have access here at work to the point charts right now, but I will take a look for you later on tonite.

For a 3 night cruise in January 2010, here is an example for your family:

Category 4 stateroom - 130 pts for each adult

3rd and 4th child ages 6 to 12 - 38 pts each

age 3 - 5 is 36 points

infant age 2 and under - 26 pts

So the total for your family would be 360 points. Remember, you can also do partial points and cash. MS can provide you with the cash price if you decide to check that out..
