I noticed my Jan 4th criuse price dropped , so I called Disney and they gave mw $175 refund!!!! I told them I would just give it back to them one way or another ::yes::

LOL! Well, at least you're facing it head on! I've already got a bar tab, a spa tab and a shutters tab run up in my head--and we don't even sail for two and half weeks!

Yeah, you'll give it back and then some. Speaking of shutters...what a racket! You go in there thinking your going to buy a couple of pictures and by the time you get home your saying "holy poopie"...what have I done. LOL

lol, too funny

fortunately for me I am a "hobby" photographer so I usually only buy 1 picture to remember each trip, now my spa bill, is something I have no control over

Before our fourth cruise, we decided we would only buy our Embarkation photo. We stuck to that and never went back to look at other photos, so no temptation to buy more. We already have a wall full of DCL photos. And two DCL albums from each cruise filled with pictures we took, so far we have eight DCL albums and will need 2 more in April.

Awhile ago I started a thread about the difference in the (higher) cost of two 4-nt cruises in January 2005. [The Wonder is sailing 2 days earlier with the same itinerary as the Magic - doing a 4-nt - & was much cheaper]

I found out the other day that the prices dropped on the Magic & it's even more affordable than the Wonder, now!!:hyper:

Did all categories drop in price? And, how can you tell? How long ago did you book?

I'm trying to figure out when the price drops. I have booked over 13 months in advance and have NEVER seen a price drop. In fact, it goes up and up and up.!

I booked 4 months ago and I looked on the DCL site on the weekend and saw the price drop, I checked again today and saw it was still down so I called.

The DCL rep. said are sure? because prices NEVER drop this close to a cruise, I said yeah it's what I saw on your web page.

She checked and sure enough it had dropped, she seemed surprised. They gave me a credit back to my credit card.

Now the price on my December cruise has gone up $300.

Wow! that is so cool. What category are you in.

Have a great trip! What a wonderful time to go.

Must agree on the Shutters comments - we try to stick only with the Embarkation Photos but often get one or two more.

Best bet - don't pose for the photos and you won't be tempted!

The best shots were taken by a third party of us during the Character Breakfast - natural and more relaxed than the posed ones!

Great! One less thing to think about (still overplanning my XMas trip, will get to the cruise when we get back :p )

I'm with you! I never seen a price drop for category 6 so far for my cruise in May. It has gone up $1400 since, I have booked back in January of 2003.
