Two years ago, when I cruised on the Magic for the first time, I downloaded and burned a CD with some "cruise-themed" music for the ride to the port. [I live in Clearwater (Tampa Bay) and the drive only takes about 2.5 hours.]

Since that time, I've mis-placed my CD and need to make another. That's where all of you may be able to help me!

I am looking for song suggestions to put on the CD. Anything cruise-themed would be great! Hope to hear lots of great suggestions!!!

Jason

I love doing these CD's! I'm planning on including:

Just about anything from Jimmy Buffett
Sailing - Christopher Cross
Soak up the Sun - Sheryl Crow
Kokomo - The Beach Boys
And, of course, Disney hits - especially "tropical" themed ones (Tiki Room, Under the Sea, Kiss the girl)

I plan on ending the cd with the ship's horn playing When you Wish Upon a Star......

Good luck, I look forward to seeing what other people suggest!

Who let the dogs out ---- I think of goofy and Pluto dancing on stage every time I hear that song!;)

The Cha Cha Slide....love that at the deck parties.

I also like the Duet with Gweneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis from the movie Duet.....Cruising!!! That always gets me in the mood for a cruise!!! Music is played for love....cruising is made for love....I love it when we're cruising together......cruise with me baby......

Beauty and Beat CD is awesome. All your favorite Disney hits played on a steel drum!!!

Beauty and the Beat is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Defintely get that CD, you won't be dissapointed

How about the music from Disney Dreams? Hubby made himself a DD CD, even though he had to buy a lot of Disney soundtracks to do it! That would include songs from Aladdin, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, and of course the Lion King.

How about "Red Red Wine"? Don't know who sings it but it has a great tropical feel. Have fun!!!!!

Twinave: UB40

How about "Won't you let me take you on a sea CRUISE?" an oldie but a goodie!!

Steel Drum Party played back to back with Beauty and the Beat.

Only 9 weeks to go until our magical cruise:smooth: :smooth: :smooth: :smooth: :smooth:

I always think of my cruise when I hear that song! Love to remember the cruise staff's routine, which I learned by the end of the cruise!

Red Red Wine is by UB40. I have their greatest hits, I have a CD I bought in St. Croix from a local artist Bill Bass Steel Pans Tourist Classics, Jimmy Buffet's greatest hits, a couple of women who sell their CD's in Key West (my favorite of all) Lenore & Michell wih Stella & Iriving Wild Island Night, Harry Belafonte Pure Gold (Ya Mon it is pure island music) and Island Favorites by One World.

I just bought Beauty and the Beat. I am set for island sounds. The St. Croix CD can only be bought in St. Croix and I could not find Lenore's and Michell's on Amazon.com so only in Key West. One World CD's can be bought on Amazon.com.

Enjoy. Kathy
