if it is already discussed somewhere point me to it, but how does getting luggage on and off the ship work? limitations, restrictions? can I put everything in a laundry basket (neatly folded) or do I need to break out the LV with matching clutch?

I thought LV went out in the 90's. Aren't we onto Coach, D&G or ETRO?

Oh, that is such a "guy" question, Rex :) I'm not sure you would ever catch one of us females asking if we can pack for a trip using a laundry basket!

Made me chuckle :rotfl:

If you put it in a laundry basket neatly folded I don't think it would show up like that to your room. They "throw" your bags in a big container at the dock. Now I have had some guys nicely put my bags in the container but mostly throw them.:rotfl:
OK now to be serious I have never heard of bag restrictions from the cruise line. If you are flying you must pay attention to the limitations and size restrictions the airlines have for luggage. If you are driving you can bring what ever size luggage, boxes, or plastic bags :rotfl: you want.

There are no luggage restrictions on the ship. Please keep in mind that your luggage will need to be stored in your stateroom.

A helpful; hint....most suitcases fit under the beds.

You will drop whatever luggage you bring with the porters outside the terminal. It's always suggested that you keep medication, documentation, jewelry etc with you.

The porters will tag your luggage (if you havent already) with your stateroom number. Your luggage will show up outside your stateroom door at some point during the day.

I'm not sure I would break out the Hermes luggage as it is handled in much the same way it's handled by the airlines. In other words, it's tossed and stacked and reated like ....well luggage.

You will be provided disembarkation (debarkation???) information during the cruise.

In a nutshell....you will again be provided tags indentifying your bags. They will need to be packed and placed outside your stateroom door no later than 11pm the last night of the cruise. You will leave the ship and go through the luggage "warehouse" where you will find your bags. There will be porters waiting to help you get your bags to your mode of transportation.

Please keep in mind that the porters work for gratuities.

Also....that last night....please remember to keep closes out for the next morning, otherwise you will be next Disney legend. :lmao:
