Cruise line merchandise

We're are excited and sailing in 11 days aboard the Dream for our second Disney cruise. Last time, I was not prepared to purchase a Disney Dooney and Bourke purse; I'd like to be financially prepared for this expense with the upcoming cruise. Did anyone have an opportunity to view the collection onboard? Is it different than what is offered online? How much can I expect to spend? And of course, if you have and can post pictures, that would be appreciated as well.

Pricing is about the same as what you would see online or in the parks. Last time we were onboard, they had the whole line of purses for that particular collection. So as far as waht to expect to pay depends on how many pieces you want.

Prices are the same as on land but you won't pay sales tax which can be a big help. Sometimes they do offer sales on the older styles but those are hit or miss based on availability.

i'm wanting to purchase my first disney dooney on my upcoming cruise as well! do they usually just have the cruise line prints available, or are the other styles (i.g. the star wars and jack skellington prints) available to purchase?

I'll have to ask my wife when I get home but I know they have the cruise line prints. Usually the 4 or 5 pieces in the set. I think there was 1 or 2 others there but I can't swear to it. I'll ask her when I get home tonight.

I just got off the Dream. Starwars and Jack Skelington prints are available along with the cruise print.

This print was a year or two ago...not sure if they still carry it

It came in many different sizes and styles.

Just talked to the wife. She said that they had the DCL D/B and a few others but not many. There was also several other purses like Vera Bradley that had DCL logos on them. That was as of July on the Dream.

My friends and I were on the Dream in December. My friend is a Dooney and Burke collector and bought 2 purses while on board. She hesitated each time, but decided to buy. What we didn't realize is how many of the designs were not available online or in Disney Springs. One of the star wars ones she bought wasn't even available anywhere else at the time. When talking to the sales people in Disney Springs, they weren't expecting the designs for a few months....not sure if they got it yet! So my advise is if you see it, want it, buy it...
