Cruise in Jan. 2006

We go on our cruises the first Week of Feb and cannotkeep the kids out of the water.

Takes me a little bit to get in there.... but after that its fine...

Wasn't too cold for us. We swam at each port and on the ship. Temps were in the 80's each day and high 70s at CC. Water was great (we're from New England - so to us it was incredibly warm).

We did the Eastern January 2004. We had perfect weather for swimming. The kids swam everyday. My husband and I also went in the water at a beach in St. Maarten and I had to get wet at CC, just to say I did so. CC was a little chilly. There were lots of people in the water, but I dove in once and it was enough for me.

What was really nice is our DD 4 and DS 2 could play all day in the sand and it wasn't too hot.

Enjoy your cruise.

We have done 4 day, 7 day Western and 7 day Eastern in January. We had nice weather all three trips. 2 of the 3 days in CC we were albe to swim, one day was nice but very very windy. It is warmer the further south you go, so the on 7 day Eastern you have the best chance of good weather.

We are going again this year 7 day western...last week of Jan into Feb. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
