Cruise Discount Dates for Military

Hi everyone,
I may have given out incorrect information here and just wanted to let you know that there ARE discounts for the military for the dates below. I was initially given incorrect information, my apologies!

These are for cruise only reservations (not land/sea packages) and are for Categories 4 to 12 only.

For the 3-night cruises from 01/09/03 - 03/20/03 and 05/01/03 - 05/22/03.

For the 4-night cruises from 01/12/03 - 03/09/03 and 05/04/03 - 05/18/03. Blackout dates are 02/02 and 02/16

For the 7-night cruises from 01/04/03 - 03/08/03 and 05/03/03 - 05/17/03. Blackout dates are 02/01 and 02/15.

And just to add to Cathy's information, the discounts are for ACTIVE DUTY military only.

I tried getting a quote with the MIL code for a 7 day cruise the last week of Feb. and for the May 3. Both times it woud say OOPS, wrong code for those dates. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Heidi,
I called DCL to check for those dates and both were available. Did you do it on the website, if so, that won't work, you have to call and ask for the MIL code.

Thanks for the reply Cathy, I never saw it, silly me. Yes, I was trying on the website. I ended up having dreams give me a couple of quotes. I am booked for 3/20/04 but for big savings would have been willing (lol) to cruise earlier. Sailing this May would have saved a couple of hundred but we would have lost first seating and they only had cat. gar. left, I like knowing my cabin number before hand. We have decided to wait it out until 3/04. Hopefully some Military discount can be applied to our cruise in the future.
