I have looked through some of this board and not sure exactially what I am looking for. We have 20 or so people going on the Disney Dream for our 5 year anniversary. I want to make up badges that look like the cruise badge in my countdown. Not sure if we will put everyone's name on them and maybe something about our anniversary and the date. I am thinking of making tshirts or door magnets out of them.

Is there anyone here that makes something with that graphic.

Thanks,
Linda

I believe it was Tom that made that style and I don't think he is DISigning at this time (I could be wrong but that's what I recall)

Here is something for the Dream that might work:

I have a few other styles in the same file

Thanks so much - I will open it and play with it when I get home tonight from work.

I have this, it is based on teh 100 Years of Magic version of DCL's nametags. I can change it to 5 years, and you can change the lower text to whatever you are calling your anniversary cruise.

Onkel Hans - that looks great. Love that idea. Not sure what we were thinking of calling our 5 Year Anniversary - but - how about "5 Years of Dreams" - as we will be on the Dream. Love the way you put a hidden Mickey in the 10 - not sure if you could add something like that to the 5.

This is getting so exciting - just heard from another friend that they have booked a cabin for our Anniversary Cruise - and my DH and I just made reservations for the Magic out of NYC in September with my dad and stepson. Now I need to start thinking of making tshirts for a sail away out of NYC.

Thanks so much to everyone for their help.

Linda

I have one also that looks just like your signature count down.

Hope this helps you!!

Thanks, that looks great.

Is there anyway of getting the graphic separately that I can maybe do other things with it. The 5 and the Disney Cruise graphic (sail and Mickey head) and Years of Dreams - as a graphic is what I mean.

I love that and would love to be able to use that on some of the info we send out to our guests - like maybe is we make an invitation or a welcome aboard letter.

Not sure if this is something I could play with - I would almost like the 5 a little smaller and the sail with the Mickey head a little bigger - I know I am asking alot for something you did for free but I would definately play with it a bit.

Nother question on how would I get names on it. I saved the graphic you sent in a Word Document. I have used PowerPoint and know I could make a text box and put it over the badge graphic. Can the graphic be saved as a PowerPoint document. I am not sure how to do some of this but I would love to try.

Thanks again for all your hard word.

Linda

Just to be clear, you want the five, the DCL Mickey head, and "Years of Dreams"; do you want the Disney Cruise Line text as well?

I will tweak that part of the graphic, I stuck to the style of the original badge design, but it really doesn't work as well with five ans it does with ten or 100. I'm thinking that blowing up the Mickey head and inserting the five into the head might work, too. Give me a day or so and I should have some more ideas posted.

You can also use the text box in Word. I am guessing you don't have Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro, which makes that kind of task easy. You may try GIMP, a free paint/photo editing program. Or just ask me! You are my only customer :)

Thanks so much for getting back to me and take all the time you need.

I would like the 5, the DCL Mickey Head, Years of Dreams and the Disney Cruise Line text. The one your originally made was great - I just don't think the DCL Mickey Head stood out as much. So maybe making the 5 a little smaller and the DCL Mickey Head a little bigger. Whatever you think will work.

Besides having all that on the badge, could you also give me that whole graphic together separately. I would like to maybe put it on the top of my welcome letter and maybe some other things also.

I do not have photoshop but will play around with the badge in word as far as putting the names in it. What font did you use?

When I tried copying and pasting the original graphic with the 5 on it and enlarging it - it came out blurry also.

Thanks so much for all your work. Checking out other threads, I found loads of other things that you made. We are also going on the Canadian Disney cruise ot of NY in September. The cruise that will be our 5 year anniversary will be in November 2013 (a long way off). I am going to check out all your designs for the Canadian cruise also.

Thanks again,
Linda

Me again.

I saved the badge in Word and was able to add a text box and put my name in it and it looks great. Thanks.

Just wanted to let you know that. Whenever you get a chance to update the graphic would be great.

Thanks,
Linda

I haven't found an exact match for the DCL font, but Newport Classic and Decotech (TL) are fairly close. I use a little of both, for example the ampersand is better in Decotech. Waltograph is the Disney font, and i use Arial Rounded for the "hometown" part of the badge.

Speaking of, what do you want for that? Just thinking if you have other people's names in the badge it might look like it is their anniversary unless you perhaps put your names in the hometown area.

Thanks so much. New graphic looks great. Love the way you put the 5 in the Mickey Head.

You are right about using this graphic for everyone on our cruise - not sure what I am going to use yet - but I will definately use these for my DH and I. We will have one person celebrating a birthday while on this cruise so I want to do something for her also.

I have been checking your designs out on the Canadian cruise thread also and you have some great designs. I will definately have to see what I can use for our Canadian cruise this September.

Linda

Thanks everyone for all your help. Looks like I will be making lots of tshirts and other things with all these great badges.

Can't wait and thanks again.
