Mike - I had to laugh at your comment to my DH, Chris about the Keys. In his defense, I have planned this entire vacation, and he's just along for the ride. Maybe now he'll take an interest in our family vacation.

Papa - HA! My wife just brought it to my attention that you posted this and that I will be in the Keys. HA! I don't pay attention to much - I am just along for the ride. i go where the wife tells me. We always have fun, so it has worked out well so far. :p

Hey! I just found out we're all going to Mexico, too!!!! That will be fun, eh?:jester:

Alright! Someone tell Amy to quit laughing *at* me!!!! She is supposed to be laughing *with* me!!!!

All I knew is that we are going on a boat ride (a little longer than a Three Hour Tour, a Three Hour Tour...), and going to see some islands - one of which was a drug-smuggling, gun-running hoodlem island now run by the mouse. It is going to be a happy, fun ride!

DW's don't laugh at you, they laugh with you;););)

Ave did the doctors spring for the steak dinners yet??

Eric are your German friends still coming across the pond?

Hey Cathy, girl I need a raise:bounce: this cruising is getting expensive.

Chris don't let your boss catch you on the sloppy cam. Oh I forgot she will be there with you. Mike

Cathy,
surprisingly it is not so expensive: A 2-week-Carribean-cruise in an outside stateroom, including air from Germany to the DomRep and back starts at Euro 2000 per person, which is about $2200 right now. The package contains the same as on a Disney-ship, but all the tips are already included.

Mike,
our German friends still don't know if they will be able to join us. Right now the can't even think about it as Roland's Mom had a brain-tumor diagnosed and needs an operation :(

Eric sorry to hear about Roland's mother. We will keep her in our prayers and hope that all goes well. The zoo's newest addition was cute.

Dave and Ellen hope that you are settling back in after your cruise. I know that the weather on the cruise was probably a little bit warmer than NY was upon your return. Mike

OMG ... Eric, Please give Roland our best wishes on a successful surgery for his Mom. Prayers and Pixie Dust going their way.

ALSO ... Prayers to the families and friends of the Shuttle Crew, Columbia ... today will be a very hard day for them with the memorial service scheduled. I hope the media leaves them alone and allows them time to mourn, reflect & try to go on without their loved ones.

Eric, sorry to hear of your friend's mother's illness. I hope she has a compleat and speedy recovery.
Also thanks for the picyures!

I am home today, sick (sore throat) and kids are sick, Regina has pink eye, George W has fever, and sore thoat. Fun Day!!!

Cathy...I'm so glad you will be doing name tags! The ones last year were so cool!!!

It's Tylenol time for everyone.
Later!

I have just e-mailed Dreams Unlimited to transfer my reservation to them. I also have changed my dinning from early to late.

Kids are feeling better. The "healing properties" of a whole day watching" Cartoon Network" are amazing!

I am going to be making our reservations for Captain Marvins 1/2 day morning tour some time this week.

Cathy still haven't heard anything out of Disney about permission to use the German Mickey in our logo. As long as we don't sell any shirts or anything like that I guess that it would be ok if everyone applies it to their own shirts like last year. We would just have to use it for our own personal use.

Mary put your hand on the computer screen. Heal thyself!!!!

Check back later. Mike

Chris.. TOO Funny!!! Definitely *with you*

Mike I got the Chicken Florentine, it was Very good! And the docs were a blast.

Lets see.....Rellingtwin stays home, sick, but gets all kinds of stuff done, even with two sick kids. Way to go! Hope you and the kids get better soon.

Eric, So sorry about Roland's Mom! Love, Prayers, and Pixie Dust!

Later, Ave'

Eric, please pass on my prayers and some pixie dust to Roland's mom. I am so sorry to hear about anyone sick.

Speaking of sick, I went to the doctor today and was diagnosed with either "bursitis" or a torn rotator cuff. I got a shot in my shoulder joint and feel much better! It is funny that this happened. I am the 5th one in the nursery to have this condition. Hummm, wonder what is up with that? We are falling like dominoes there. :o

Way to go Ave! I wish we could get something going at work. Those heifers that I work with just hate change and refuse to cooperate. There is a lot of head rolling at work right now. I am not sure what is going on but our MIC clinic (Mother, Infant, Child) has been dissolved and is merging with the MeHarry clinics. This clinic was run on donations and they have fallen off. I really hate that. They took care of some really risky moms. They sent nurses into the homes to check on the babies and moms too. I know, but I couldn't go into the homes while I work for NFN cause that would have been duplication of care. I guess now that is changed. We'll see...

Mike has left to get Chinese tonight. When I was so sick with that cold two or three weeks ago it tasted so good sliding down my sore throat. I had egg drop soup. Yum!

We watched parts of the memorial services today. That was so sad. I just couldn't believe my eyes when it went down. All I could think of was how much Cathy, Art, Mike and I had enjoyed watching the Atlantis go up last October. It was a beautiful sight.

Does anyone want the Goo Goo's again? I can bring those again or bottles of Jack Daniels.???
:teeth: NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p
Wouldn't that be a party!

Take care, Kathy with a K

Mary hope you and the kids get to feeling better soon.

I meant to put that in the last post. Sorry. Here's pixie dust headed your way.

Funny, my kids used to be so sick and would beg to stay at home. About the time the buses would run they would all of a sudden feel much better and would be fine. I would get so out of sorts with them. One day it was close to time for school to let out when I got a call from across town where my son was going to school. He had stepped into a hole on the playground and was limping badly. The teacher wanted me to go pick up my littlest faker (I thought) and get him home. I told her to put him on the bus and send him on home. I heard the bus let him off about 1/4 of a block down the street. It took him 30 min. to walk up our driveway. It usually takes a minute, tops.

Have you ever had your heart just drop into your shoes? Specially over a decision you have made? I took one look at my baby and rushed him to the emergency room. He had broken his ankle in the growth plate! I felt lower than whale p--p!

He still has trouble with that ankle when the weather changes. I still feel bad about it.:( He is 24 years old. We talk about these things at work all the time. That is what keeps most of us sane.

Oh well, just thought I'd throw that in. Kathy with a K

Boy, oh boy, I guess ailments are just going around, huh? DD(16months) had a runny nose last week, and that has turned into a sinus infection for me. Went to the doc on Monday and now I'm on antibiotics for the next 10 days. Oh well, I guess that's just what happens this time of year, even here in FL.

In a few weeks we're heading up to Chicago for a few days. I'm sure we'll come home from some kind of sickness from being in the cold and snow. But, it will be fun to see Emily playing in the snow for the first time. However, I'm glad that it's only for a few days. I definitely don't miss those Chicago winters. I've been here in FL for almost 6 years now, and I don't miss the cold, snow and ice.

Kathy (with a K) - I know what you mean about parents doing things that they regret. I'm a new mom, but I remember something that my mom did to my brother that we'll all never forget. My brother was around 7 when he was out playing with friends. He came in crying that he had hurt his finger. My mom bluntly said, "Are you bleeding? Are you dead?" Anyway, a few minutes later he went back outside to play. Then, the next day after school (Mom was still at work) I noticed that half of my brother's hand was black & blue. When mom got home, we went to the ER to find out that my brother had broken his finger, but there was really nothing that they could do, since had been over 24 hours and it had already started to heal. To this day, my brother's pinky finger is crooked. My mother felt awful for years!!

papa - I must plead ignorance here. What are Goo Goo's?

I remember my niece fell out of a tree house and broke her collar bone, but did not complain! The next day she said she could not make her bed. My BIL thought she was just trting to avoid making her bed (which she DID all the time!)..took her by the sholders and gently"shook" her!Well...she started screaming in pain!YUP!!! ER..broken collar bone!!Talk about GUILT!

My DD is the damatic one. I tend not to take her seriously because EVERYTHING is SO over blown!
MyDS on the other hand never complains! He has the pain threshold of a pro football player! When he says he's not feeling well I can be sure he has AT LEAST 102 temp! Yesterday, when DH picked him up at after school care the counceler said when he got there he asked for a mat, laid down and went to sleep! Then he came home and went to bed! YUP...102 temp!

Thankfully we are all on the mend!

Kathy...glad you are feeling better! Bring the Goo Goos!

Amy..enjoy your trip to Chicago. I agree with the snow stuff. I grew up in NY and if I never see another snow flake it's OK by me! I visit NY in the Summer
:p

I didn't appreciate the Goo-Goos and the Buckeyes until we returned home and I found them in my bag. Made for yummy snacks! (Tawira - some sort of chocolate candy they are)

I gotta time this right....

Get well wishes need to go out to many but a special get well wishes and prayers to Roland's mom as she undergoes surgery. Please keep us posted.

Mary And Ave - Welcome to the late night dinner shift. It will be a first for us too.

Hoping this works out for me.......

A big welcome back home to Dave and Ellen and family. I guess you got DD back to college. End of cruises are sad as it is but what a shock it had to be to come off ship to the news about Columbia.

I heard little Katie on the phone the other day. She wasn't giggling like Kathy had hoped but her grandma was.

Keeping my fingers crossed here......

Hi Dan and Scott and TwinAve and dvcChris and Alikat and Windemere.
