I'm helping my boss's wife plan their WDW trip for this September. They have PS for breakfast at CRT and she was going to have her 2 DDs wear their Mulan customes. I mentioned that I didn't think they consider Mulan a princess, but I could be wrong as my daughters are now older. Now she's not sure if they should wear these costumes or not.

Am I wrong? Should she go ahead and have them wear them or should she buy the princess costumes? Or does it really matter? I haven't been to the princess breakfast in several years, so I'm not even sure what characters are there other than Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White & Belle. She's thinking maybe to forget the Mulan costumes & to buy the princess customes for CRT & then they could also use it for Halloween this fall. She's thinking that some little kid might make a remark to her DDs telling them that Mulan is not a princess. Then they might feel bad.

I don't know if Mulan is at CRT, but she is usually at the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway. Lots of kids dress up; they would not be out of place in the Mulan outfits, even at CRT. No one will tell them Mulan is not a princess.

Thanks! That's how much I know about the princesses anymore. I know I see all the t-shirts, etc., and I don't recall seeing Mulan on them. That's why I didn't think she was considered one.

I'll let her know. I know she'll feel much better about this.

We were just at a birthday party of one of DSs friends and I was looking at their pics from the trip they took in February. Wendy Darling (from Peter Pan) and Mary Poppins were 2 of the characters at CRT. If they rate up there with the Princesses, I'm sure Mulan qualifies as well!

Mulan doesn't show up at CRT, but she does appear at Storybook Princess Breakfast. If they want to wear their Mulan dresses at CRT though, I'd say that would still be fine. All the other princesses and friends will all compliment them anyway.

CRT breakfast is only Cinderella characters (Cindy, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Suzy & Perla). But I am sure it will be fine to wear ANY costume. If you really want to see Mulan you should have ps to PSB instead. PSB has Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, Jasmine and Mulan. PSB is in Norway at EPCOT's WS. Since you are already in EPCOT you would probably run in to Mulan again in China.

The dinner at 1900 Park Fare has Cindy, PC,FG and Suzy and Perla.
At CRT you will usually find a variety of the Princesses, during different visits we have seen Cindy, Aurora, Belle, Snow White and Jasmin. As well as the Fairy Godmother and Mary Poppins.

The only place we have seen Mulan was at PSB in Epcot.
