Does anyone know they give the children a wand/sword during lunch. I know they do at breakfast. My DS had his sword broken on accident by a neighbor child and we are trying to get a opening for CRT at lunch on 12/5 in order to surprise him.

Thanks.

I did not know they did this. Is it new? We are going in Nov and it will be a nice surprise for the kids.

I do not think it is new, just something that is not advertised much. The kids will get their chose of a wand or sword. (It is marked as CRT) This is why my son is a little upset about his breaking.

They also get a "wishing star" for the wishing star ceremony.

I know for sure its at breakfast, but I also know that they don't give them out at dinner because I had dinner there and the little kids didn't get them. They just had the fairy god mother do a song and then the mice came around for a visit, but didn't sign books...only posed for pics. I don't know if that has changed, but I'm pretty sure it hasn't. If anyone else can say otherwise then I guess it has changed. hth:goodvibes I love crt we got engaged there dec of 06!!!

You're right -- it's not that new. We went in April, 2006 and they had the wand, sword, and star then. I think it was relatively new back then.

My DD saw a girl in front of us ask for a sword, so she did, too! She said she had plenty of wands, but not a long, shiny sword. That was fun to fit into the suitcase for the trip home...:sad2:

DD8 didn't receive a wand/sword at dinner in Sept. 06 - didn't see any other kids with them either.

How big are the wands? We are doing breakfast and staying in the park all day. Just wondering what type of bag I need to put them in.

They have the kids put their star and wand/sword in front of them, close their eyes, and make a wish. When they open their eyes, the area is "twinkling". There is more too than that but this all I really remember at this point. It was cute.

We received the sword and wand at dinner last month. DS's sword broke the week after we got back.. we had to crazy glue it back together.
