CRT vs Akershus

I'm going to mk one day. I have the dessert party that day, so I can't change that day.

My other mk day I'm splitting with epcot. So I have crt fit lunch and Akershus for dinner

Oh I see, I assumed one of the reservations was for breakfast. Unless there is a big gap between the two I wouldn't do a CRT lunch and a Akershus dinner on the same day. Too much food in too short a time frame. I doubt you'd get the 'worth' out of the dinner if you were still filled from lunch, then add in the repetitiveness of the princesses and I can't see much of a benefit of doing both meals in one day.

Since you say CRT has been your dream since being a kid, I'd stick with CRT and ditch Akershus. Honestly we didn't think Akershus was anything to write home about, sure it was just as fun meeting the princesses but it didn't compare to dining in the castle. We won't be going back to Akershus in a hurry.

However I wouldn't ditch Akershus straight away because a CRT breakfast reservation MAY come up before your trip. So I'd keep it for now in hope you get your dream reservations...

I am holding off to see if I get an alert on the diningbuddy for CRT breakfast. I follow the may cancellations daily, and see lots of people drop the day before. or the week before. so i think I am going to hold onto them as long as possible, which is 24 hours before the meal, i guess.

LOL, my husband did not complain at all when we did CRT dinner last year!! We are doing Akershus dinner this year, though DD has already said she wants to eat "in the princess castle again" - I'm just going to have to convince her that Akershus is the "other" princess castle, unless a cancellation for CRT magically appears right before our Elsa/Anna FP+. Unlikely, since I think we used all our good luck points getting the FP....
