I understand at buffets under 3 eat free. We are planning a trip for our 2.5 year old. How would that work at a place like crt? She has an appetite, would she pay for a childrens meal then? would she only be free if she eats from our meal? TIA!

When we went they gave my little one an order of french toast free of charge.

You can buy her a kids meal if you want or she can share with you. We took ds for breakfast at 18months and he just shared from our plates. There was plenty.

We took all 3 of our kids when they were all 2 years old. The servers brought us out extra pastries and fruit and we shared from our plates. Plenty of food to go around!

We've had two different experiences with this. We went for breakfast and they brought out complimentary french toast and scrambled eggs for the kids even though they were under 3. Went for Lunch and there was no food for DD. I asked about ordering off the children's menu but we would have had to pay the full cost, so it would have been $30 for a kid's meal. I ended up sharing with her, but the lunch wasn't really things she would eat. So I'd recommend breakfast ;)

they gave our son who was 23 months chicken nuggets at dinner for free. So sounds like it just depends on your server.

We had twin 2 year olds at breakfast. The server kind of looked at me weird when I asked for one extra muffin (I knew they would fight over the Mickey shaped muffin). The twins did get drinks and we got that extra muffin. That's it! We are a family of 5...my oldest was 9 at the time so he got a kids meal. There was NOT really enough food to feel like we got a good sit-down breakfast, but we were okay. (At breakfast, we did get the pastry platter, but that wasn't adjusted for more people so we basically all got one pastry each. The kids meal is small for an older child and the adult portions are adequate but not large at all).

my niece was under 3 when we had lunch at CRT in 2013. My sister planned to feed her off her big sisters plate and some from hers. When she asked the CM for an extra plate she was told that my niece could order anything off the kids menu for free; it would be a smaller sized meal than the regular kids meal, she ordered chicken nuggets. and was given the wand too.

At any ts meal if you want a meal for you child you need to plan to pay for it unless the meal is buffet or aycte. CRT is no different. Unless you child eats from your plate, be prepared to order a meal. If your server offers then consider yourself dusted.
