CRT two families together

I'm only about 18 days away from booking our ADR's. Woo Hoo!

Anyway, we are traveling with some friends and their children, both of our parties are on the dining plan and I was going to book CRT for all of us at one time so we could all get in together.

We booked separately through AAA for our families trips so we both have different confirmation numbers. When I call to get reservations for CRT would I need their confirmation number at the same time as mine so we can use our 2 TS credits rather than having my card charged for all of us?

If they don't allow me to use two different confirmation numbers would they charge my card only for the group that isn't on my trip reservation and then refund my card when they use their 2 TS credits?

I'm so confused. It probably would have been easier for us to all book together under one reservation for the trip and then make payments to AAA/Disney according to how much each family added to the trip.

I also booked through AAA as did my parents on a separate confirmation number. Yesterday I was able to book my meal reservations, some with my parents and some without with no problem. They just have to have their room keys scanned when they get there so they get it taken off their meal plan. You shouldn't have a problem.

Thanks, but doesn't Cinderella's Royal Table charge your card if you don't have the dining plan, but only takes the number for your card if you are on the dining plan? If they do charge my card for their dinners, how would they back off the charges? I usually pay off my account in full every month and it would have been paid off well in advance of our trip.

If I don't have their vacation confirmation number how would the CM booking the tables know whether they have the Dining Plan or not, without just taking my word for it?

I may just get it from them, just in case.

I did the exact same thing in Sep.
Booked ADR for 8 of us, only 4 on my DDP. Other 4 were on another room res and on their own DDP.
They did not charge anything to my CC, just put a hold on it for the full amount.
That way if I didn't show, they could charge it.

Excellent. Thanks for your help. Now I won't worry too much about that part of the trip, just need to decide on all of our ressies now.
