CRT- Should we use DDP or pay OOP?

As a faithful lurker that is coming our of lurkdom, I just added the DDP to our new reservation at AKL. We were at SOG and decided to change. Anyway, when I booked I added the DDP. We have had our ressies for CRT since Jan. I have read before that if on the regular DDP you should pay OOP for CRT instead of using 2 credits. I would really like to know if any of you have any wonderful opinions? Since, you always do! TIA!

If you have other things you want to spend the credits on, you're probably better off paying OOP, especially for breakfast.

That said, if you really don't have other TS that yu\ou want to use the crdits on, you're just fine using DDP. (We're on DxDP, and it's no problem for us to "burn" the extra credit, so to speak.)

We are paying OOP. In reality, I could have used the 2 credits and paid OOP for a less expensive TS restaurant, but when paying for CRT gratuities and everything are included so I figured oh well .. i will just pay.

I'm also on DDP for the first time and we have decided to pay OOP for CRT lunch so we can use our 2 TS credits elsewhere. We were going to need a couple of more meals because of an early arrival time the first day, so this made sense for us.

This is a great question. I was wondering the same thing! We were going to do one on the DDP and one OOP -- but we are doing lunch, and so with the holiday surcharge, I am guessing it would be about 42.00... I didn't realize it was all inclusive, so tip is included in the cost? I just realized that we could get dinner for 2 for one lunch at CRT...

Doing CRT for breakfast in June (already have my ADR), and I'm going to pay OOP. Just didn't make sense for us to use 2TS here.

We went ahead and used the credits b/c it will just be DD and I - DH and DS will go for a CS lunch. We wanted to do T-Rex anyways, which is OOP, so we're doing that on our CRT day. DD and I will use all four of our TS credits for lunch.
