CRT Reservations

Have a question for the pros. I have never gone to CRT, and I am planning on taking my daughter there for dinner on her 5th birthday. Now I realize that staying on resort I can book reservations 180 days in advance and since her birthday is 4 days into our trip I will then be booking that meal 184 days in advance. Booking for anywhere between 7-10 people. 6 of these I can guarantee will be on the meal plan.

Here is my question. Am I paying for this meal when I book it? Not all of the 10 people are necessarily staying on Disney. The ones that are staying on Disney will be under 3 different reservations.

Can someone let me know how this will work, and how much it will potentially cost when I book it.

I would call and ask. If you are on the dining plan, they can link your ADR to your dining plan so you will not have to prepay. Not sure how that would work for all people in your party if some will be paying for OOP. I believe you would want 1 dining reservation for all 10 people or else you probably would not be seated together.
