CRT first-timer here...Today I made my first PS for CRT's breakfast on Jan. 2. Woohoo!! DD's are gonna be thrilled! My sis called me and said that she was also able to get us a PS for that morning. Now we're trying to decide between a 9:55 and a 10:20. I've read that if you have a later PS, you won't see very much of the princesses. True? I've also read that you may have to wait 20 min. or so to get seated, even with a PS, which would put us in the restaurant around 10:40. Does that mean that we would only have 20 min. to eat? Do they stop serving promptly at 11? ( 7-y-o DD is a pokey eater, so that could potentially pose a problem for us. )

Also, do they serve any character foods at CRT's breakfast? Thanks for your responses! princess: princess: princess: princess:

danacath,

I would do the 9:55 ressie. I too had a 10:20 and amazingly enough was able to call back 2 hours later and change it to 10:00. I was afraid of feeling rushed and I didn't want to have my 2 DD's disappointed. I also didn't want to make everyone wait that much longer for breakfast.

I know the last time we went we had a 9:50 ressie and we had just enough time for the girls to see the fairy godmother and make a trip to the bathroom before we were called. They actually called us as we were leaving the bathroom. Made it out just in time. We had less than a 15 minute wait and I believe we were there about 5 minutes early too.

No Mickey waffles at Cindy's. But the cheese stuffed french toast thingy is awesome! And remember they will bring you more of whatever is your favorite all you have to do is ask.

We had a 9:30 PS. Timimg was great. We got to see all of the princesses plenty of time to eat. Saw Fairy godmother both before and after.

I would vote for early.

Kids get french toast sticks and scrambled eggs.

Pokey eaters tip.

My DD9 has always been a terribly pokey eater

On days we had a character breakfast I starved her :p until the restaurant...

No granola bar, no handful of fruitloops, no banana, no drink (except a handful of water when she brushed her teeth) no nothing.

By the time we arrived at the park/restaraunt(s) she was STARVING, and ate everything in sight :)

The downside to this is 2 hours of whining and complaining about what a mean mother I am

>>^..^<<

Thanks for the advice, everyone! Any other opinions out there?? The main reason that we would take the later time is so that we could arrive when the park opens and cover most of Fantasyland before we eat. But at the same time, I don't want the CRT experience to feel rushed, like mazzarafe was concerned about. The one answer I'm still looking for is whether they stop serving right at 11 AM. Comments, anyone? TIA princess:

They keep serving you until you are finished. This isn't a buffet, but they bring you your food on individual plates. So as long as you are seated and still eating, they should keep bringing food and beverages to your table.

We had a late seating once and almost no others were seated after us. We had a nice breakfast while the room cleared out. They proceeded with resetting tables around us while we ate our meal.

Thanks for the helpful reply, Deb! It's nice to know that we won't go away hungry. LOL (Can't wait to try that cheese french toast. Yum! :D ) Hey, I see by your countdown timer that you'll be down at the same time that we are. Have a super time! BTW, which one of you is in the marathon? DH will be in the Chicago Marathon this coming weekend.
