CRT Price Increase?

I have the menu from allears printed out from about a month ago, and the price for lunch was $37.99 for an adult. I just looked at the menu today online, and it's up to $50.96! That's a pretty steep jump? Is that possibly the seasonal increase?

....and we concluded it was WAAAAAY overpriced before....with exactly the same menu at Boatrights at POR --- for FAR less $$$.

Seasonal increase? It's about to be the slow down period, why amp it up now? Free ddp?

I think that menu is dated July 2009, and the seasonal "holiday" surcharges were in effect from late May through July 11, 2009. So it could be from that period of time. I also noticed the dinner went from $42.99 per adult to just over $57 per adult. That's a big increase!

I agree, but they are thinking is that they have people waiting out the wazoo to get in. Until demand goes down, expect prices to keep rising.

Don't think the DDP won't be going up soon too.

Allears has been somewhat inconsistent about including or excluding tax, gratuity, and/or the seasonal surcharges in their menu listings - not just for CRT, but for all the single-price restaurants. It's somewhat frustrating.

If you see a price that does not end in .99 or .95, I would consider that it may include some or all of those additional charges, and that may account for part of what looks like a large price increase.

Having said that, it certainly makes sense for WDW to charge whatever price will continue to keep the tables filled.
