CRT $$$$ - other options at Magic Kingdom?

Normally have done the CRT in the afternoon but now they want full payment upfront and not sure the $$$ they want now are worth it.

What other options are a good alternative for a mid-day break? Maybe CS is the way to go.

Are you looking to stay with a character experience? If so, Crystal Palace (Pooh and friends) and Liberty Tree Tavern (Minnie and friends) are good choices.

If you're willing to take a quick monorail ride, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort (Mickey and friends) and 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian (Cinderalla & Prince Charming) are also fun experiences.

For lunch, all but Liberty Tree Tavern will be full buffets. Liberty Tree Tavern has a lunch menu that includes sandwiches and such. (For dinner, it changes to all-you-can-eat family style.)

we love the plaza restaurant for lunch. its a perfect mid-day break. great sandwiches (love the plaza club), at close to counter service prices.

Where is the Plaza Restaurant located?

I asked for CRT availability anyway and CR said it was booked to January. So it sounds like no lack of customers at current pricing.

Will probably just grab something convenient wherever we happen to be.

on the right at the end of Main Street. We ate there a few years ago. It's pretty casual with sandwiched and good ice cream drinks and treats.

I vote for having a Dole Whip Float instead of lunch!
