I've scored a table for CRT before the park opens  , but am now considering doing the princess breakfast at Epcot instead. We, DW, DH, DS7, and DD4 did CRT and really enjoyed it, but we didn't get to see Jasmine or Ariel. I read a post that said these were at Akershus. I don't think the lunch or dinner meals would work for us as we are picky eaters. I've also read hear that being in the MK before opening was magical and great for pics. Is Akershus one TS or two?

What would you do?:confused3

Princess Dining in Norway is 1TS credit. Starting April 27th, a photo package is also included. This year we are doing that meal and also 1900 Park Fare for dinner. For us, we rather have two princess experiences for the same credits as one would be at CRT. I think we will do CRT and some point, but I want to wait a year or two until my daughter is a little older so she will really remember it. You know your family best, everyone has their favorites.:)

If you've done CRT before then I would do the Akershus for one TS and you'll get to see twice as many characters. It will be lots of fun for the little one.

Did you get any interaction with princesses at CRT--aside from the greeting and picture? Did they give out the wands and swords? I'm beginning to think Akershus is the way to go--my DD4 would definitely want to be able to talk to some of them, and she is very interested in talking to and "hugging" every character she sees! The Toon Town meet and greet was perfect for that, and I'd feel silly if we wasted all of that money on a meal where she couldn't really interact with them. I'm guessing the room itself is much nicer at CRT, but I'd love to hear from someone who has been to both. Good luck with your decision!

We loved Akershus - one princess greets you at the door and you get your picture taken. The other 4 princesses will come around to the tables as you eat. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and they stop to chat with you, hug, sign autographs, let you take pictures - whatever you like.

The princesses rotate - both at CRT and Akershus - so there's no guarantee who you'll get where. Except you know you'll see Cinderella at CRT.

Some people aren't interested in some of the Norwegian foods - we had breakfast which is standard breakfast food.

We went to Akershus for dinner.

We had the princesses Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Jasmine.

It was terrific. My 4 year old thought she was in heaven. I was SO WORRIED about the food. I had heard the restaurant smelled bad, and the food was so bad you couldn't eat it, but this wasn't my experience at all. It didn't smell at all, and the food was typical disney food to me. I think I had some kind of pasta with cream sauce dish.

I actually had a choice, and picked Akershus b/c you could see Ariel there. When we went last year, they said Ariel didn't do the breakfast meal. Just an FYI. Things change all the time, so you might want to check this year.

And... It is only 1 table service credit. That makes a difference!

We did both in August. Breakfast at CRT and Dinner at Norway. The castle was fantastic my 3 year old still talks about it. It was just "special" and I'm so glad we did it. Yes the characters came around and signed books and talked to my girls. Mary Poppins was awesome and so was Belle. At CRT we saw Cinderella (who is in the lobby taking pictures and she was also super) we got a great pic of her and my little one. We also saw Sleeping Beauty and the Fairy Godmother who was precious! Yes the girls got wands and a wishing star and they did a wishing ceremony.

We went to Norway for dinner and we really did not like the food. None of us did we also felt rushed. The princesses were good but nothing more or better than CRT. Belle was in the lobby for pictures, and we got to see Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Cinderella. The interaction was good but I have to say that CRT was just more "special". If I could only do one it would definitely be CRT.

You'll have a great time and I'm sure that you'll make someone very happy if you cancel that early ADR for CRT. Have fun!
