Okay I know I could post this in the restaurant thread, but thought I would ask people with young girls. Dh, ds12, dd8, dd4 and I are going to Disney in Oct. 2008. We are trying to decide between CRT and 1900 Park Fare. We went to CRT last time and my oldest dd loved it but my youngest dd was only 2 and really didn't like any of the character dinners. Now all she talks about is going to disney and seeing cinderella. So what do you guys think? Let me know about your experience. Thanks in advance!

We have done both several times.
My DD has always preferred 1900 PF because Prince Charming is there too!
She loves him!!

She picked 1900 PF as our place to have dinner on her b-day this summer.

At 1900 PF, guests also get to spend more time with Cindy than at CRT.

My dd4 loves Cindy. Are the setp sisters there too. Would this be better for lunch or dinner? Sorry to ask so many questions, but our last trip our meals were so enjoyable, they were as much fun as the parks themselves!

Yes, since late summer, the step-sisters are there now too.

I can't help about "lunch or dinner".
We've only ever done dinner. But dinner has always been fabulous!

DD was 6 when we went to CRT and 7 when we went to PF. She votes for PF - hope this helps!!:wizard:

We have been to CRT for breakfast and PF for dinner. If your girls are really into Cindy then I would vote for PF for a couple reasons...1) It is all characters from Cinderella, CRT is several different pricesses 2) the step sisters are a hoot - they really get into character., 3) if you are on the DDP, PF is 1 TS and CRT is 2

Thanks everyone. I wonder if we should do Downtown Disney, We will do BBB and the guys will do Disney Quest and then hit PF for dinner and then call it a night and swim at the pool. And make it a non park day. Keep your opinions coming! Thanks

I too have done both, we keep going back to pf for the strawberry soup, not to mention its only 1 ts. We have also noticed that, imo, the characters spend more time with you at pf. We have only done dinner, so I can't help. There are menu's on allears if you want to see

we did late ressies at 1900 pf and because of that my daughter has her pic with everyone..the group gathered at the check in station and there was prince charming both mice cinderella and the fairy god mother..was very cool and my husband loved the food

I was going to say the same thing about the pool after BBB. I've heard the "do" will hold up overnight, but probably not a dip in a pool! We are doing PF on our last park night (in just over a week!! ) I'll let you know (probably with pictures!) how it is. I've heard alot of good things about it since they switched to the stepsisters and its one of our ADR's that I'm looking orward to the most!

We've done both and much prefer PF. It's cheaper, the food is better, and my DD (8) was in love with Prince Charming. Lots of interaction with both Cinderella and Prince Charming.

The stepsisters are a hoot. One of them kept coming over and flirting with my DS (10).

We went to PF last May. The main reason was that we were on the DDP and decided to do PF and HDDR. The food was great, especially for a buffet. DD3 was so excited she couldn't eat and even fell over in her chair. She loved Prince Charming and Suzie and Perla. Unfortunately the step sister were not there at the time. We did the BBB the morning of the dinner ressie and DD got a lot of attention. Then we met Fairy Godmother outside the restaurant.

We are thinking about trying CRT this October.

You guys are right about swimming and BBB, I wasn't even thinking. I just need to sit down before my 180 days and write down our plan so it matches the parks and places we will be. Thanks guys and I would love to see pictures of PF.

We did 1900 Park Ave last spring dd and ds loved it. The food was great the interaction with Cinderella, Prince, Fair God Mother and the mice was amazing. The food was good enough that dh and dss have requested to go back.

We have always loved 1900 Park Fare. My daughter loves it there. Of course to me the best place to have a meal with a lot of princesses is the Princess Storybook meals at Akershus in Epcot.

I hadn't realized that sometimes it is the mice and Fairy Godmother at 1900 PF? We were there in January, and it was Cindy, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, and the step-sisters. I chose it over CRT partly because I didn't think I could get the ADR at the 60 day mark, but also to save 1 TS. Plus, my SIL had been to CRT, and said the food was awful.

Anyhow, we loved PF - great character interaction, and great food. Cinderella is dd's favorite princess, and she was the only character she was brave enough to actually hug. :) My trip report has a bunch of pictures, tho more of the characters than the restaurant.

Oh, and I think currently Cinderella at PF is only at dinner.

I thinkt he Steps replaced the mice and FG this fall. You are right, Alice is at 1900 PF during breakfast. Cinderella is only there for dinner.

As far as Princess interaction I agree the Princess Storybook is great. We saw all of the Princesses except for Pochonatas (is she a Princess) & Cindy.

I am a bit disapointed to hear that they have done away with FGM and the mice. The kids enjoyed them as much as Cindy and PC

We have done both on each of our last two trips. I just don't know how I would decide between the two. :confused3

We just did them both last week. :goodvibes

"Cinderella" sent my dd and invite to the BBB and then to join her for lunch in her castle. DD was SO excited about this. She enjoys eating in Cinderella's house and completely believes you must be invited to eat there. ;) I wasn't too excited about the lunch menu but I was pleasantly surprised. It was wonderful! The only thing I didn't like was that the princesses RUSHED through the tables. I don't remember them rushing quite that fast in the past.

1900 PF has the best prime rib!! I don't even like meat but I had to try dh's because it looked so good and I was hooked!! I'd eat there just for that! The characters spent a bit more time at our table except for Cinderella. She was a bit rushed. The step sisters were funny and mingled around the tables in between stopping at them. About every 20 minutes they planned "So this is love" and Cinderella and the Prince would dance. Then they would split up and ask different children to dance with them. How cool would that be for a little girl to dance with the prince?

I am no help at all am I. I say go to both!!
