CRT menu clarification

Reviewing the online menu for dinner at CRT. Entrées are listed ad choice of one as is desert.

What can I expect for the first course - the heading states Chef's Tasting Plate. Listed below that is soup, salad, and Charcuterie. You don't really get all three for the table do you? Assuming it is choice of one even thought it is the only one of three headings where that is not stated.

It's one of those things that is confusing because it should be obvious, but they probably had to add "choice of one" because someone showed up and expected all six entrees back when the restaurant was supposedly AYCTE.

We went last year for the first time and I ordered the plate of cheese and meat for my appetizer. It was extremely small portions. We are going again in March and I’m thinking about trying soup. Has anyone had the soup at dinner there?

I've had soup the two times I've gone. The first one was a corn chowder the second one was tomato basil. Both were amazing and I highly recommend getting the soup. I believe it changes every day so you won't know ahead of time what will be served. But I don't even like tomatoes and really liked that soup.

Thanks for the response! I would like the tomato, but I don't know if I would like the corn chowder. I hope when I go they have potato soup! That's my absolute favorite. I now know that I won't get the pork because I didn't like it last time and ended up switching with DH who got steak.

I didn't think I'd like it, but nothing else interested me so I ordered it and I actually really loved it. It was creamy and not overly corn tasting.

I'm going to try not to be picky then and try whatever soup there is!

We are going on the 18th for a late dinner and I'm afraid my husband is going to spaz when he sees the small portions relative to the cost of 2 dining credits. I have kept the details about this from him but I can just hear it after we leave..."we could have had Yachtmans for the same credits!" He and my son are big eaters and this meal is for me and my daughters. Wish it was still AYCTE like the CG Brunch.

My husband liked it, but we both agreed the portions were too small for 2 credits. However, we are still taking our niece there because it will be her first trip.
