princess: Has anyone found it hard to reserve lunch at CRT as it is for the breakfast? :goodvibes

Sunday was my 90-day mark to call for our lunch ressies at CRT on October 1. I forgot to call until about 8:45 p.m. that night. They had one seating left at 2:40 p.m. so I took it!

From what I've read, some days its easy to get ressies and other days they are sold out. Good luck!

I called yesterday for this not really knowing what to expect. I treated it like the breakfast, calling first thing in the morning and hitting 1 for the first choice and 1 for the second choice. I was on hold for about 8 minutes and had my choice of any time for the CRT lunch. :cool1:

Hope this helps

Kelly

I assume it depends on the time of travel, but from my experience and reading in this board, it seems to be easier.

I made my PS for lunch in less than 90 days out. In the last several days, I tried to change the PS for the breakfast, while there were none available, the CM suggested me to get lunch (not knowing I already have one). I will be in WDW in the last week of Aug.

it was once easy. Still spots for Aug and Sept from what I hear But now that it's becoming more known, it's starting to get more difficult. I think eventually, you'll have to be in the queue quickly after opening to get it just like breakfast.

I decided to do it this trip for that reason.

I think what is happening is that when someone calls to get the breakfast and it is sold out the cm then tells them they have a character lunch now and then in turn they book that. I wasnt planning on booking the lunch, but when after several tries have not been able to get the breakfast I am glad I booked the lunch.

I got the lunch on the first try for 1:10 or something like that. For October 2,

It is not as difficult but I think you still need to call first thing in the morning. I called at 6:58 yesterday and was on hold for 20 minutes. By the time I got through the earliest lunch we could have was 1:40 for a family of 4. This was much later than I wanted but better than nothing.

I followed the same procedure for my lunch booking as for the breakfast, and I got a 12:20 seating (I was on hold before 7am). I'm thrilled, but it still wasn't the first seating. I think it's easier to get a seating, but if you want it in the noon-one time range, you'll have to call early.

Certainly do it this year, because once it hits the guide books.... :scared1:
