CRT - Lunch

I am trying to decide between breakfast or lunch. I've read thread on breakfast and dinner at CRT. I've done dinner at CRT but not sure which I should choose. Has anyone done lunch at CRT? How is the food and who are the characters?

My vote would definitely be for breakfast! It has gotten the best reviews of all three meals on Allears. Plus, the menu looks better to me personally than the lunch one (which can be seen here:http://allears.net/menu/menu_crl.htm"

I'm not sure if there's any change in the specific characters between the meals, all I know is that all three are princess-themed.

We did CRT Lunch and enjoyed it. But since breakfast is all you care to eat you probably get more for the money. My girls had the pasta for lunch and dh and i had the shepards pie which was fantastic.

How hard is it to get an ADR at CRT for lunch? My sister and BIL are joining us in October with their two daughters for their first visit to WDW and they have their hearts set on eating there. I know breakfast used to be almost impossible to get unless you called as soon as the dining line opened on the 90 day mark, so I'm trying to plan accordingly.

We got a late lunch ADR about 45 days from our trip. We wanted breakfast but it was all booked. I've never had breakfast at CRT but from reading about other's experience it sounds like you meet the same characters you get at lunch. I really wasn't crazy about the food and my son didn't like his meal at all so I will try and get breakfast when we go again.

I depends on when you can get in. If you can get in for a first sitting (8:05) so you are ready to play when the park opens, then breakfast is great. Otherwise, you'll spend your best park time sitting in the restaurant.

If you can't get that first seating, then you are far better to do lunch. Go play for a while, then come in to eat as the park fills up.

Also, if you are doing the BBB, it's better to do lunch AFTER the BBB appt when your princess is all done up!

I would choose lunch. The Major Domo's Favorite pie was fantastic!

We've done both breakfast and lunch at CRT and we all agree we like lunch better.

I just love the Major Domo pie. The characters that were there last August were Cinderella (of course), Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, and Mary Poppins.
They do change from time to time -we've also seen Jasmine there too.

We did the breakfast a few years ago and it was ok. For our June trip, we booked Lunch. This suits our schedule better as we can hit the park and then go to lunch in the castle and relax for a bit.
