Hi everyone
We got back on Monday from 8-nights in Disney - we had a FANTASTIC trip!
On our 2nd morning, I had booked us breakfast at CRT - I felt so lucky to get the reservation and Mum was really looking forward to 'eating in Cinderella's castle'.
We arrived at the MK just before 8am and by the time we had had our bags checked and put our tickets through the turnstiles, we were allowed through.
We stopped on Main Street for a few piccies of the Castle when there were NO people there!
We arrived at CRT check-in and were sent through straight away. There was no line to check-in, something I had worried about! Our ADR was for 8.10am. We had a photo taken with Cinderella after a really short wait and were shown upstairs to our table.
Walking in was just magical - its so special and we felt so special being there!
Our table was great, right by the window looking out the back towards Fantasyland.
Sort of funny story... one gentleman on the table behind us offered his server $1000 (he was being TOTALLY serious
) to go outside on the 'balcony' and take pictures. The server politely said its not allowed due to health and safety legislations but it didn't stop the guy moaning about it all through breakfast!!!
Breakfast was yummy, all of the food was delicious. I particularly loved the cream-cheese filled french toast with blueberry sauce! We ate loads and thankfully my growing baby decided to let me off my morning sickness that day!!!
Our picture was good and we loved the bit where the kids wave their wands around etc.
The character interaction was good, we saw all 4 princesses - but I have to say - for just me and Mum, it was slightly embarrasing!!! As the characters didn't have the 'heads' (i.e. like Mickey, Goofy, Pooh etc.) and they were 'real' faces, it was a bit strange for them and us (they are clearly used to teeny weeny princesses and princes!)!!! But they were lovely and still chatted and let us take pictures with them.
I had pre-paid on my c/c as a present for Mum and the server was VERY grateful when I asked him if his tip was covered in the pre-payment. He said it was, but was very touched that I had checked with him! He was a good server and very attentive.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience and if this little one turns out to be a 'princess' - her Mummy and Daddy will definitely be taking her back one day!!!
