We are offically 90 days out today and they still are saying CRT is only open until 6pm for the week we are there in April. Not only one night, but all of them. How can that be? I thought they just hadn't opened up the rest of the times yet, but now that we are so close it seems they really do close at 6pm. Anyone else running into this for other dates?

In DHS they used to open dining times in groups - starting with the earilest first and then opening later times only when the earlier times were full. This way they weren't open for hours with a half full restaurant. Maybe thats what they are doing at CRT?

That is what I thought at first...but since it is still only open until 6 pm, and we are 90 days out, for Spring Break, and it is one of the most popular restaurants on property....I am thinking they really might close at 6pm all week. Wierd!

This is very interesting. I tried to book the Prime Time for April 5 for 6:30 today and was told that they weren't taking any ressies past 6. The park is open til 10. We had to take a 5:40 and then go back and move our lunch ressie at Mama's earlier so that we would be hungry.;) Maybe this was a case of not releasing the tables yet:confused3.

1) Don't forget, WDW is trying to cut expenses.
2) That includes reducing some restaurant & activity hours.
3) Maybe CRT is included.

seems like if you were going to cut expenses, you wouldn't start w/ the busiest restaurants on property?! I'm not a business major though, just a nurse!:confused3

i would imagine castle is expensive to run though. Scupper has a good point there. Btw the characters and everything else...

Who knows, they me be having private parties or they may not be as booked as they have in the past and prefer to be at 100% capacity for less time then 80% for longer periods.

:confused3 who knows what disney is thinking, we can only speculate.

well, unfortunately I am not spending that kind of $$ for a 5:45 dinner time. Too early for us! So much for DDs BBB/CRT evening.:sad2:

Although it may be an early seating time, the meal itself will not let out until after 7PM... plenty of time to catch wishes and a night-time parade if one is running. :thumbsup2

I have and ADR here for May, and the same thing. I was able to get the last time of 5:45 PM.

beinteresting to see if this pattern continues

maybe one of our cm posters will have some true insight (although, I like our ideas :D)

5:45 is early for you? :confused3

Yeah, we go to rope drop, leave around 1pm, nap and swim, shower and head back to park/wherever for dinner. To be there by 5:45 we'd have to start showering by 4pm and leave resort room by 5. Doesn't leave much time to relax midday.

I had the same problem booking Crystal Palace for March 29....and Sci Di Diner for March 31.... both nights the CM told me that the last reservation was at 545pm...... I have called back 3 times and they have all said the same thing..... Very Weird indeed....
