Is the french toast that is served at Cindy's breakfast available anywhere else in WDW? I want to try other places to eat and I don't want to go to CRT on our Dec trip. TIA!

I only wish. That's my favorite part of the breakfast.

I made it at home once. It was really good, but not as good as eating it while in the Castle. :guilty: I shutter to think of the calories in that stuff!

One of the online Disney recipe web sites has the recipe - this is the recipe for the older version, before it was changed a couple years ago. I thought that version was a lot better than after the change.

Wish I could be more help. If anyone out there is more familiar with these web sites, this is the one with the pink background on the pages.

In any case, I completely agree with the OP's sentiments - for a long time, I put up with the hassles of getting a PS because I liked the food at CRT - especially the French Toast. However, with the new pricing, and with no children to take for the "experience", it just got too expensive, so I said my goodbyes to CRT one last time just a month ago.

Thanks everyone. I just asked my 7 yo dd which place she really wanted to eat at. She had been going back and forth on the luau dinner show (because they have the light up ice cubes, which she badly wants) or CRT. She told me CRT and I guess I'll try to book that again when I get to start making our ADR's. And I guess I will try to find these electric ice cubes somewhere online so I don't have to turn our trip into a scavenger hunt.

Hi!
We had lunch at Sci Fi Dine-In and there were glowing cubes in our shakes. Also, I've been going through menus planning our June trip and saw them offered at 50's Prime Time Cafe and Chef Mickey's :rainbow:

Great! I will be eating at some of those places so I can get these for her. I don't know why they intrigue her so but hey, I think it is a fairly inexpensive souvenir to get. I know that at LTT in MK (Dec 2004) they had some there too. Thanks everyone.

I think Oriental Trading (Traders???) has the glow ice cubes. You might try them online.

Now if only they had the french toast. :cloud9:
