Today, thanks to a lovely DIS member who posted her cancellation I was able to snag an early dinner ressie for the CRT dinner.

But tonight as I was reading the WDW description I noticed this little blurb...

"Dreams do come true here, in fact, as this mainly-adults dinner is a popular spot for marriage proposals and celebrations of anniversaries and birthdays. With scenic views of Fantasyland and regal service, it's a picturesque location for popping the question. Throughout dinner, Fairy Godmother herself acknowledges Guests' special celebrations."

We will be dining with 2 adults and 6 children 14,11,9,6,4 and 1. They are very well behaved, but of course the one year old could decide to make some noise, or cry. I mean he's still a baby.

Have I made a mistake booking this? My girls will be so excited, but I also don't want to be the only people dining with children there.

So honest opinions and experience? Is this really more for adults???

I would like to know this as well since I am planning to go there for my DD's 3rd birthday dinner.....maybe I should change it to lunch! :confused3

That's weird, I never saw that before. I wonder if it's new so they can encourage adult's only dining?
I certainly wouldn't worry about feeling out of place, though. We have eaten dinner twice at CRT, with 3 kids, youngest at the 1st time was 5.
But they were by no means the only kids there. My boys even got swords and my girl a fairy wand.
Also, it is so loud in there, even if your baby cries, I doubt it would get a lot of attention.

Oh thank you that makes me feel better. I was starting to picture it "hear a pin drop" quiet and thinking I'd made a mistake.

It just worked out so well, because I already had reservations for our 6 and 9 year old to have the princess package done at the Boutique right there in the castle at 2:00 on the exact same day as this reservation became available, so now they'll be able to get their little hair style and nails done, and be looking very princess: like for our early dinner reservation at 4:10.

I have had a meal at CRT every trip...I also plan on celebrating my babys 3rd birthday there in August!!!The Magic Kingdom is for the kids first.

Just remember, unlike bfast and lunch, there are no princesses inside the dinner.

I think the dinner skews toward adults BECAUSE there are no princesses at dinner. That is not to say they are the least bit unwelcome there. I dined there with my 7 year old daughter once, and there were plenty of other kids there as well. Enjoy!

Your children are quite welcome at dinner at CRT. I think that because there are no princesses in the dining room, that there may be less kids. (I know that's the reason we wouldn't do dinner - we like lots of princesses).
