CRT for breakfast or lunch?

We are planning a meal at CRT and trying to decide between breakfast or lunch. I have done breakfast before, but never lunch. How is the food? I know the breakfast is plated, but you can always get more of what you like. Is lunch the same way or is it one plate and you're done? Are all the characters there for lunch? I know they are not for dinner, but I want to make sure my DD see the princesses. Thanks!

This is a great question! I would also like to know the answer! I am thinking lunch, just because we are a part of 7 and I'm thinking it will be a big pain to get us all out the door for an early breakfast. However I think it would be a wonderful way to start out the day and wouldn't it be great to see the park before it opens?! We are going to try to get a reservation for our first full day at Disney(we'll drive in, in the late afternoon the day before).

Well I haven't been to it yet, but I did ask a similar question and I got a lot of answers. I wanted breakfast and called at open on my 180 day mark. Could not get it. We have 5 and they said there was nothing available. I also thought it would be a great way to start out. We actually got lunch for the same day so I posted the question about lunch. Seems to be very similar princesses and you can see 4 or 5. Everyone seemed to think lunch food was very good. I might have been able to get a different day for breakfast later in our trip but I think it would lose a little of the "magic" of that first day so unless I get lucky calling back to change to breakfast I think I will stick with it.

We did CRT lunch OCt '06, it was great! There is a family style appetizer plate (salad, cold cut , cheese stick type) then they bring whatever you order (not all you can eat but we were quite full), I believe I had the domo pie, very good, then sundaes for the kids & blueberry buckle/ice cream for adults - we all loved it, saw Alice (hoot)!, Snow, Fairy Godmother, maybe Jasmine, I cant remember but believe there were 4 or 5, also Cindy downstairs. Service great too - DH tipped extra extra! HTH!
