CRT Early Breakfast Question

I hope this is the right board for this question. Here it is. We are staying off site this summer (bummer, I know), but we have been able to book CRT for 8:05 AM breakfast. In the past when having early breakfasts we would just hop on Disney Transportation and get to the park early. I have not had to drive and park. So my question is how early should I arrive in the MK parking lot to make sure I'm not late for an 8:05 AM ADR?

Secondly, please refresh my memory about driving to MK. You have to park, take the tram to the monorail to get to the park - Correct. Am I missing a step.

We were just there in December and stayed on-site but had a car (DH had one requirement, and that was NO DISNEY TRANSPORTATION!) ugh! Anyway...being there so early you'll get a great spot and you won't even have to take the tram, then you'll walk over to the monorail and take that to MK. I'd plan to get parked by 7:30 just to give you time - no later than 7:45 though! We had a 8:10 ressie and got there around this time. There's no running or wild worrying going on then :) We had a blast being there so early, taking photos with no one in the background. I think we'd go back just for that!!

a MK morning EMH day I would add another 20-30 minutes for the tram and the lines to get in the park.

We just did this last week, we were off site and had a 8:05 ressie for CRT. I asked the women on the phone when making the ressie and she suggested to get to the parking lot at 7:15. Well of course we were late and got there about 7:25, and still made it with plently of time (of course this was during one the slowest weeks at WDW). We actually had to wait about 5 mins before they even let the breakfast ressies people into the park. And yes you take the monorail to MK, but it is nice to ride it when it is empty. You also get to park so close that you don't even have to take the tram.
