CRT, DVC and DDP...how does this all work?

I made my ADR's this morning. I rented DVC points from a DVC member and it's noted on my ressie that DDP has been added. I was told that I cannot pay for DDP until arrival. So, if CRT is charged to my credit card, how do I get that back and use my DDP credits for the meal? Thanks!

When you made the reservation, did you let them know you are getting the dining plan?

This is what the on-line booking says for CRT:

At time of booking, payment in full must be charged to a valid credit card or, if on a dining package, there must be a guaranty to a valid credit card.

When booking you specify DDP, give your resort booking #, and then they only take your credit card as a guarantee, not to charge it. They charge the card only if you are a no show or violate the cancellation policy.
