CRT - do they check magic bands?

We have a reservation at CRT in my husband's name. However, we want my dad to take his place. Do they check magic bands at CRT or just accept the confirmation number? Basically, does my dad need to pretend to be my husband?

It shouldn't matter. You just go to the podium and give them your name. I've never had my Magicband checked to make sure I am how I say I am. I have never eaten at CRT, so it could be different for a pre-paid ADR, but I don't think it will matter.

Most restaurants only need the name of the lead guest.

The only place that scanned my band to check for a reservation was be our guest lunch.

I dined there just last Thursday. All you need is to give them your reservation name. You shouldn't have any problems OP, dont worry.
