Kind of dissapointed, Taking my 8 yr old daughter for her first disney trip for her birthday, kind of last min. Tried getting dinner reservations july 1 thru July 5
could only get a 9:20 on the 5th (checkout day) Not sure she will enjoy such a late dinner after a day of being in the park.
Do you think i'm wasting my money going so late ?

I think that after a full day in the park 9.20 is really late for anyone, not just kids.

How about trying for Akershus instead?

Are there characters during dinner or are you just going for the experience of dining in the castle? I would also suggest trying Akershus in Norway/Epcot. They have quite a number of princesses and you get a free picture of yourself/daughter with Belle before you get seated. We have done breakfast numerous times and really enjoy it. Besides that, it's not as expensive as CRT and reservations are much easier to get! Hope that helps!

OP, I think 9:20 might be a little late for a child, unless you have taken a break in the afternoon.

Since this is a prepaid/CC guaranteed meal, people do cancel. So keep checking for another time, right up until 2 days prior.

I think we will take a break in the afternoon and come back, we will be staying outside disney for the remainder of our vacation, of course the night of the dinner is the night we move, might leave the park early and check in to new hotel and relax a bit then come back for the late dinner

I think your plan sounds good. I did a late dinner at CRT with my 4 kids last year and it went pretty well. We all napped in the afternoon and made it back to MK just in time for the fireworks then we had dinner in the castle. It was our first night so it was a cool way to start a vacation.

I agree with this, just keep checking. My motto about getting ADRs that you want is to just keep stalking the online dining and calling every day, if not twice a day to Disney Dining until you can find a time and date that will fit into your schedule. Good luck and here is some pixiedust: in hopes you can get a better time.

We had a really late reservation at CRT when DD was 8. She is a bit of a night owl, but it worked out well for us. The fireworks started outside our window just as dinner finished - it was the perfect ending to a great park day.
