CRT Dinner Reservation for 5/19/08 or other sugestions

Hi everyone!

I am trying to book a very special Disney Vacation for an Anniversary and I was not able to get a reservation for CRT on 5/19/08 (or the 18th or 20th)

I need it for only 2 people. I called today and they said they have reservations for 6 - but not 2. I do not understand why if theres space available...I can not get a reservation.

I know its a long shot - But if anyone has a reservation that you are canceling (OR would not mind giving me) - I would be forever grateful!!! Sometime Disney Dreams come true and I am dreaming big time!

I am going to keep calling a few times a day - but figured I would give this a shot too.

If I can not get reservations for CRT - what else would be a good recommendation. I am cautious about trying strange food - but what else is something that says - "special night."

I would recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse over CRT in your case. I've heard the food and CRT is pretty underwhelming, and you're basically paying for a location, some characters, and a photo package.

Yachtsman is a nicer place, IMHO, to have a special occasion dinner for those who aren't that adventurous. Be sure to pick up Happy Anniversary buttons, too. If you're checking into a Disney resort, you can ask for them at the front desk upon arrival. And all the Guest Relations places in the parks and Downtown Disney should have them upon request, as well. And wear them during dinner.

WOW I was able to get a dinner reservation at the CRT today thanks to a wonderful CM! I am so happy I feel like I won the Year of a Million Dreams!!!
